Midpoint -- THE IRAN JOB @ CUNY in Manhattan TONIGHT!
Yesterday was the midpoint of our campaign and what an exciting day it was! We returned from a Christmas party with the kids last night and saw that we'd gone from 20K to 29K - in one day!Half way through the campaign we're on track to reach our goal and possibly exceed it! It's something we couldn't imagine just a few weeks ago.
None of this would be happening without your support which continues to create incredible momentum for this campaign, which in turn continues to attract more and more attention to it! Last night we gave an interview for CNN - they also interviewed Kevin - so you'll hear from our film's protagonist soon.
We also just got invited to present our trailer at CUNY in Manhattan TONIGHT during a night of short films from Occupy Wall Street! We're thrilled about this invite because we feel there's a direct correlation between Iran's Green Movement which in many ways gave root to the Arab Spring - which in turn at least partially inspired Occupy Wall Street. TIME's choice for "Person of The Year" is testament to this interrelationship. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/45657166/ns/today-today_celebrates_2011/

Encouraged by your amazing energy we set a new milestone: We're trying to reach 40K by Christmas - something we wouldn't have dreamed of just 7 days ago.
With your support we feel we can get there. We would be enormously grateful if you can inspire one person to match your own pledge in time for Christmas Eve.
In the past few days we've gotten many inquires about gifting a pledge for THE IRAN JOB as a Christmas present. This is possible (!) and it's a great way to support the film while giving a unique gift.
Another effective way to maximize your impact: One of our backers wrote a letter to her very close friends saying: "I just gave $X to this incredible film THE IRAN JOB - I'd like you all to do the same!" Period...
You know what? It worked!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is amazing!
Much love and gratitude,
Sara and Till
