Hi Sara and Till. I was wondering if the digital downloads are available yet for the $25 donors. I just want to make sure I didn't miss it since the estimated date was Dec 2012. Thanks!!

Hi Ashkan -- the DVD is available for pre-order at http://www.theiranjob.com/shop/

    5. Ashkan Rastegar on November 27, 2012

Hello again! Do you mind telling me how I could get a DVD as well? I've promised my friends and family that I would make a movie night for The Iran Job :)

    6. Sara Nodjoumi & Till Schauder 2-time creator on November 27, 2012

Hi Ashkan -- for $35 one gets either the t-shirt or the poster depending on what you pledged for . Our records indicate that you pledged for the t-shirt so we'll be asking for your size soon...:-) All best!

    7. Ashkan Rastegar on November 26, 2012

If for example we pledged $35, do we receive only the t-shirt or do we also receive anything else that is listed in the previous pledges: DVD, download, poster download, etc.

As for Robert's question regarding San Francisco. We will have a release there -- just not sure exactly when yet. Please follow our facebook and websites in the next weeks and months to get updates.
      Thanks for all the support!

Congrats on meeting the goal! Do you have any plans to show the film in San Francisco?

Hi everyone -- there is a TYPO for the delivery date of the DVD -- it's of course Nov 2012, not 2013! (We would've corrected this but Kickstarter doesn't allow for edits once a reward has been selected),

      All best,
      Sara & Till

    11. Michele on October 20, 2012

I'm sorry, just noticed that the delivery date for the blu-ray is nov 2013, as for the 30$-dvd, but not for the 50$-dvd (nov 2012). Can I ask why? Thank you, and thanks for awesome job!

Pledged $1 just to say this: $25 for a digital download is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind pledging $10 for that award, but more than that seems completely counterproductive.

Hi dear Sara and Till, I highly suspect you have already considered the option of finding Iranian residents in Bay area or LosAngeles area for funding your project. But just in case there are considerable number of wealthy cultural activist Iranians in these areas who would be happy to invest in the movie. All the best. - A student from UCDavis.

Thank you Christoph and Margaret for your beautiful comments coming from both sides of the Atlantic. This type of support and encouragement will help bring THE IRAN JOB to audiences! All best from Brooklyn!

Dear Sara and Till, My husband and I watched the movie the other night. It was truly engaging and we really liked it. I am glad I backed the first part of the project and am proud to help (albeit in a small way) to get more people to see it. We have seen the power of a film this week -- as so much violence has been sparked (allegedly) by a different film of lesser purpose and quality. The IRAN JOB is a step in the right direction. I believe your film could provide the balance toward understanding and perhaps connect people who are very far apart in so many ways (not just geographically). I hope all is well for you and your family. Best Wishes always, Margaret (the mom from the suburbs of NY)

      Dear Sara and Till!!

Thanks so much for the limited edition DVD and CONCRATULATIONS for your movie!

Beautifully shot and nicely edited!! I had many "goosebump moments", especially @ the basketball scenes when Kevin and his team came back twice right before the buzzer... (oops sorry for the spoiler...!) even though i'm not a huge basketball fan!! But also the private side of Kevin and the iranian ladies are so rewarding to watch! Well done!!

This film NEEDS theatrical runs in as many cities as possible. Especially with the soon-to-be-expected-war-mongering against Iran after the elections...!!

So, people.. PLEASE SUPPORT THIS MOVIE AND BECOME A BACKER.
      The rewards are awesome, too!

☮ With much Peace & Love from Germany ☮

Sorry that I have to cancel, my credit card won't work for some reason.

I really hope that you do reach the $60,000, but if not, may I still get to the DVD? You can keep my pledge money and use it to continue to work to bring this film to the theaters?

Thank you so much for your support, Melody - it was a pleasure to talk to your class last night, and inspiring to know that the film resonates in front of such a diverse and international audience.

Thank you for having the courage to make this fascinating, funny and inspiring film about LIFE. I contributed to the original campaign and now I am a backer of the "Bring it to the Theater" campaign because this doc MUST have a theatrical run! It's simply amazing. I showed it to my students at the American University in Bulgaria last night and they were blown away. They come from 44 countries and the conversation we had after the screening was remarkable. THANK YOU for making this doc and I wish you the best of luck in this new campaign.
