What are Human Beans?
Unique candies that hold the power to inspire conversations, challenge perceptions and spread love.
How is the Candy Unique?
Jelly beans come in six colors and one of twelve flavors. It's always a surprise!
Why Were Human Beans Created?
To remind us that we can't judge by appearances. Appearances can be deceiving!
Are Human Beans Really Needed?
Yes. Studies show that people often don't know how to talk about differences, so they just don't. We're here to help encourage the conversations.
How Can Human Beans Help?
We created free talking points, activities and lesson plans (for all ages) to help make it easy, and fun, to talk about diversity.
What are You Raising Funds For?
To create this super cute packaging to expand our market and our message.
How Does Kickstarter Work?
Kickstarter is an all or nothing platform. If we don't meet our $6000 goal, our project will not be funded and Human Beans...well, they die.
What Happens to the Money Pledged?
When you contribute to a Kickstarter project, you are only promising to contribute IF the campaign is funded. No money is taken out of your account unless the project is funded.
I wouldn't have been able to do this project without the wonderful support and creative talent of Andreea Costache. Please check out her portfolio here. Thank you, Andreea!
Kickstarter is such an amazing platform and opportunity for entrepreneurs. Human Beans Candy commits to Kick it Forward by putting 5% of our finished product profits back into other Kickstarter projects.
Risks and challenges
There is always a risk of delays in shipping or production, but I have added in buffer time for the incentive levels. I do currently have an online store and am familiar with packing and shipping processes. If the project is funded, you will receive your Human Beans in perfect condition!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
