Peter and Joseph here from Bloodsoaked. We're in the process of recording the latest Bloodsoaked album "Religious Apocalypse", filming a brand new video and we're asking for your help.
Why are we doing a Kickstarter?
We took less money from our record label this time around so we could secure the digital rights to Bloodsoaked's music and give back to the fans. With our new deal with Comatose Music we now have the rights to give away all Bloodsoaked's music absolutely FREE via the Bloodsoaked web site.
What does this mean to you...? Well, six months after the new Bloodsoaked album is released we will be releasing every Bloodsoaked album FREE to everyone and anyone. We are doing this to give back to all the fans that have supported and continue to support Bloodsoaked.
Why are we giving our music away for free?
We feel this is the best way to promote the music and Bloodsoaked the band. Giving music away is the best promotion in the world and we're hopping this will lead to an even larger fan base. This should generate even more merchandise (CDs, Shirts, Hats, Stickers) sales for Bloodsoaked and Comatose Music.
We set the goal at $1,000 with hopes of $2500-$3000.
We set the goal low at $1,000 so the Kickstarter will be successful and that minimum will get us going in the right direction. $2500-$3000 is what we really hope for to break even with Recording and Video production cost.
We are not looking for a free handout, everyone that pledges receives music in return. Every cent of money we receive from this Kickstarter fund raiser will go into the album (tracking, mixing, mastering) and video (filming, film crew, editing).
------ Spread the Word ------
Whether you pledge or not you can still support Bloodsoaked by spreading this Kickstarter Fundraiser on Facebook, Twitter, Email or any other Social Networking sites. Tell your friends and their friends.
We thank you for supporting Bloodsoaked and Death Metal.

What The Critics say about Bloodsoaked's last album "The Death of Hope":
"The Death of Hope shows Hasselbrack's continuing growth, wielding sounds both massive and clear as hell's bells, his one-dude output right on par with any nationally-known full-band death metal ask." (8/10) - Decibel
"The Death of Hope, an epitome of fat-free death metal. Your hunger will be fed without the concomitant bloating that too often occurs in the genre." - Blabbermouth
"Bloodsoaked is a breathing testament to the ability of the one-man metal band to transcend the record sales and continental reaches of the archetypal metal "solo project." - Metal Injection
"Bloodsoaked is an illustration of one man's relationship with death metal. And in that regard, it's immensely personal. From sinister Morbid Angel slowness to Effigy of the Forgotten-era Suffocation grooves and sinewy tech riffs, it's not just regurgitating; it's savoring. And one could argue it's better this way: bring these riffs and ideas to a band and they may sand them down to something generic and painfully forgettable. But coming straight from the horse's mouth, they're lively and memorable". (4/5)- Metal Sucks
