About this project
We have set out to revive the original art of jewelry making, by using skilled artists who craft each piece by hand. We employ old world metal smithing technique in lieu of modern, mass production models. This enables us to employ American artists, providing real living wages and full health & retirement benefits.
Our heirloom quality work is made using recycled metals sourced from a green refiner, Kimberly process fine gems and responsibly sourced stones.
From inception to completion, our process aims to be green. We make our jewlery in our certified green studio. From wastewater treatment, to chemical use, to shipping, we make responsible choices. Even your Kickstarter piece will come to you in a carbon-offset package!
To commemorate our expansion in New York, Melissa has designed pieces inspired by the city that captured her imagination. Each piece from this collection will be hand made specifically for you, using recycled sterling silver and 14K gold.
New York is the fashion capital of the world. If we change fashion practices here, we can change the industry one piece of jewelry at a time. Our new space in SoHo will house a retail store, wholesale showroom, bridal boutique and a working studio.
With the money from this Kickstarter, we will make this space as green as possible. Our goal is to use green building materials, reclaimed and recycled fixtures, green power, and energy efficient heating and cooling.

Risks and challenges
Since we make everything in our own studios from raw material, there is minimal risk. If any issues do arise, we will burn the midnight oil to make sure everyone receives there pieces on time, as that is our highest priority.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
