A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.
Appearance, function, and manufacturing methods match the final product.
We were at CES with fully functional Jinni prototypes. Stevie Wonder visited our booth, and he was impressed with Jinni, its Alexa features, and usability for visually impaired.
Jinni is featured in:
Jinni is the only wearable that allows you to take all of your favorite voice assistants on the go...wherever you go! Control Alexa, ask OK Google, talk to Siri, have Jinni read notifications or make a call, all using this small wearable. We hate picking favorites and wanted to bring multiple voice assistants into one tiny, portable, clip-on, mountable, and even magnetic device. We believe voice is the best user interface and should be available to us everywhere and not only at home/work.
With Jinni you use all the best features of your favorite Voice Assistants.
Alexa is great for home automation, playing music and ordering on the go.
Okay Google is great for information, getting directions and controlling your phone.
Hey Siri is great for controlling your iPhone and automation.
Hello Jinni is great forreading time, notifications and receiving calls.
Jinni is the best driving assistant: Answer Calls, read notifications, get directions, and control automation safely without lifting your hands off the steering wheel. Jinni can switch its audio to your car's Bluetooth system for higher quality sound. Jinni will switch back to the internal speaker when it is not connected to your car's Bluetooth.
**Jinni works independently of any Echo or Google home devices.**
Jinni + Mobile Phone = All of your Voice Assistants.
Alexa + Google + Jinni (Android)
Siri (iOS) – Touch-and-Talk Mode Only (Alexa and Google are not available on iPhone)
The best virtual assistants in a single portable device.
Wearable: Wear it with your shirt or a jacket
Magnetic: Stick it on your fridge or a shower wall (Metal sticker is required)
Mountable: Mount it on a steering wheel or vent of your car (Car mount is required)
Portable: Carry it on your keychain or clip it on your bag/belt
Water Resistant: Use it in the shower for music, information and never miss a call/notification
Advantages over popular device:
Versus Amazon Echo/Echo Dot: Smaller, portable (wireless), wearable, includes calls and messaging, Wi-Fi not required.
Versus Google Home/Mini: Smaller, portable (wireless), wearable, Wi-Fi not required.
Versus Amazon Tap: Smaller, includes calls and messaging, wearable, Wi-Fi not required.
Your support of this product will take Jinni from prototype to production.
What You Get & What We Need:
If you back Jinni, you will get one or multiple Jinnis depending on the perk you choose.
Jinni allows you to automate your home/office, order stuff from the web, check facts, get directions, hail a ride, play music, read notifications, send messages and make phone calls.
Jinni is the smallest and most portable form factor to utilize Alexa and other voice assistants to date.
Our goal is to reach $30,000 to bring the Jinni prototype into production.
We have completed the first batch of PCB assembly and we need to:
Complete the final plastic tooling.
Finish the FCC certification.
Complete the training of the wake words.
Improve APP design Complete the packaging design.
We are confident that we will complete the production rapidly and will deliver Jinni(s) to you in the promised time.
PCB’s are assembled (As seen in the video)
Plastic soft tooling is complete (Jinni shown in the video was created using soft tool plastics).
Software and Android APP are functional. (iOS App is not required)
Alexa integration is complete using Alexa Skills Kit (ASK).
About Voice Assistants
Amazon’s Alexa, Apple’s Siri, and Google’s Voice are revolutionary systems that include thousands of built-in features. Amazon Alexa is also an OS that boasts an ever-growing list of third-party applications, designed to allow you to control your technology with your voice. All three of these systems are getting better by the day, and they can control an increasing number of devices.
Jinni is a lot like a Sci-Fi Communicator that integrates Okay Google, Alexa, and Jinni (Android) – or Siri (iOS). Jinni allows you to experience all the great things about your favorite virtual assistants without having to pick favorites. It is the best of both worlds. And, with Jinni, you get a brand new virtual assistant to read your notifications or tell time to you out loud without having to pick up your phone. Get a text? Jinni will read it out loud for you so you can instantly respond with a voice command or you can just touch-and-talk.
Jinni is a small Bluetooth button that integrates the power of Alexa and Okay Google into one portable device for Android or Siri for IOS. Jinni is both wearable and magnetic. She can seamlessly go from your lapel to your refrigerator door, to your shower wall, to your steering wheel, to your purse. Jinni connects to your phone via Bluetooth and uses your phone’s data to connect to Alexa, Siri, and Google Voice servers.
Unlike Echo, Echo Dot, or Tap, Jinni allows you make and receive phone calls and text messages from your existing phone number and is not bound to one room in your home/office.

Your contribution goes a long way.
We believe Jinni will integrate voice assistants in a way that hasn't been achieved to date.
We already have our PCB boards ready and waiting for us to begin manufacturing. Our senior management has been spending almost all of their time overseeing all the details to have a successful manufacturing experience. While we acknowledge the risk, we are committed to making this a project without significant delays.
We have completed most of the hardware and software development so we can deliver a high-quality product in promised time.

Risks and challenges
We understand that technology products face manufacturing challenges. To that end, we have placed significant effort and expense to achieve the following:
We have completed the Android app and it is now available on the play store "Hello Jinni". iOS users do not require an app as Jinni works with the classic BT connection to control Siri
We have selected trustworthy and competent parts vendors.
We are working with trustworthy and competent manufacturing partners with a history of achieving deadlines.
To avoid any unforeseen technical issues, we have assembled the first batch of PCB’s, as seen in the video.
We have done extensive testing using the PCB’s assembled in the plastic casing to make sure there are no antenna issues and Bluetooth range and voice quality is good. We have not completed the FCC testing yet, we will apply for FCC certification by end of February.
