G’day card sharks! Sharpen your strategy and get a shuffle on ’cos you’re about to go wild!
Zoolu is a fun game where everyone collects different sets of animal cards. These critters are called Wild! Cards and they come in five different Colours – Green, Blue, Orange, White and Pink – and five Types – Cheeky, Freaky, Zany, Cutesy and Cruisy.
The aim of the game is to collect a full set of one card Colour or Type, then roar “I’m Willlld!!” before anyone else.
But winning ain’t a walk in the park. For starters, your Target Card tells you which cards to collect.
Then there are the Kaos! Cards... They’ll make your game or break your game, mess up your plans and get crazy on your hand. Approach with caution. You're about to swap, swipe, stockpile and surrender Wild! Cards.
Anyway, Zoolu is more fun than a cuddle with a crocodile. Order a deck
(or two) and get set to go wild!
The good news is that a bunch of adults and kids have game-tested Zoolu and they all give it the thumbs up.
The word on the street is that Zoolu is*:
"The funnest game ever!! Even though 'funnest' isn't a proper word."
"I give Zoolu 11 out of 10!"
"I hope Zoolu gets as big as UNO because it deserves to."
* Actual quotes.
So, it's official. Grown-ups love it, grandkids love it, giraffes think it's cool*.
* Not an actual giraffe quote.
More good news is that Zoolu is allllllmost set for release…
I've spent three years developing this game. I've finalised a business plan to cover all aspects of the release, paid for the game design, registered the Zoolu trademark, taught myself stop motion and name-dropped "Zoolu" like a dog with a bone. I've got big plans for the Zoolu website, I've written a book to accompany the game and I'm itching to take Zoolu global.
The game is totally designed (thanks Whale Shark Studio) and my manufacturer is on stand-by to produce the first release (cheers, Panda Games), but without your support, Zoolu will be extinct. Yep, sad but true. I just haven't got the funds to manufacture Zoolu on my own.
With your help though, Zoolu will be released into the wild (happy and true) and I’ll be tickled pink. And orange and green and blue and white.
Thanks so much for checking out this campaign and I hope you can support Zoolu!
Risks and challenges
I've planned the Zoolu roll-out down to the last detail, so there shouldn't be any problems. However, crazy things can happen, so I've allowed plenty of time for delivery, while ensuring that you'll have the game in your hot little hands in time for Christmas gifting.
I'm an organised and enthusiastic Kickstarter, so the main thing is getting enough support from you guys to make Zoolu possible.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
