Q2Q Comics Volume 2
$42,100

Q2Q Comics is the Internet's best and only-est Tech Theatre webcomic! It follows a company of designers and technicians as they work on theatrical productions. It's relatable, it's silly, it's absurd, and sometimes it'll give you the feels.
It is written and illustrated by Steve Younkins, a theatrical audio engineer and sound designer.

In 2015 we successfully kickstarted Q2Q Comics Vol. 1. We liked it so much that we decided to do it again! Now, after two and a half years, we've finally got enough comics to fill another book!
We're looking to make another f'real fancy-schmancy hold-in-your-hands full color 130-ish page book including Q2Q Comics #221-420. We're hoping to do a first edition of 1000 copies, but self-publishing is all kinds of expensive. That's where you come in! By contributing to this project, you'll be able to help us publish the fanciest-schmanciest book possible!
The book won't look entirely unlike this:

There's going to be more to it than just a comics anthology, though. You'll get tons of commentary by the author, top secret never-before-seen art work, concept art (if Steve can find the crevice where he shoved it), how to draw a character, and what ever else our wild whimsy dictates.

It's books. Like, seriously. That's what we're making here. You can get a signed book, one with a character doodle, DRM-free digital download or just a plain ol' book with out all the cool stuff. You can get them alone or in pairs, if you're worried your book will get lonely and want to get it a friend.
This go 'round we're also doing something super cool: Department Themed Mystery Boxes. You pick your department (audio, lighting, scenic, stage management, costumes, wardrobe, paints, props, directing, or intern) and we'll curate a mystery box for you which could contain, but is not limited to, prints, artwork, hand made things, stuffed animals, clothing, gremlins, stationary, stickers, the true meaning of friendship, buttons, hand written notes, ya know, general loot crate-y stuff. Oh, and they come with a doodled book, too. There's a limited number, so if you're feelin' it, commit to it already.

We've reached our funding goal! So that means we have to break out the stretch goals. The book is getting made either way now, so lets see how much cool crap we can cram in there!

Risks and challenges
We have been running an online shop for 4 years now, and we've already managed to complete one successful Kickstarter campaign, so we feel confident in being able to fulfill the rewards in a timely manner.
With our last Kickstarter, there were production delays caused by the timing of our printing schedule. We've accounted better for that and should be able to get it printed without major delays this time. We were slowed down in shipping by having too many complex reward tiers, so we've streamlined that for this go around, too.
We will do everything we can to keep all of our backers informed and maintain full transparency if delays do occur.
