Have a question?
@Kese - same thing happened to me. The "purchase" was in My Library @ DriveThru so I just downloaded it from there. I honestly don't understand the difference between the two sites.
So, I went to download the RPGNow links and after I had everything in the cart RPGNow kicked me saying that I'd been redirected too many times. When I logged back in, my cart was empty and I get this error message "INVALID DISCOUNT MAX USES: THE SPECIAL DISCOUNT YOU ARE TRYING TO USE HAS ALREADY BEEN REDEEMED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TIMES ALLOWED" when I try to add them again.
The RPGnow links. The PEGINC ones are fine.
Hmm I backed at the all in hardback level, but the PDF links that were sent are missing quite a few titles.
Daaang! Found another error...the Human Scrapper archetype linked the "back" background for the Figure Flat. Fixing. Sorry folks. Fixed now. (Shane)
@Jeff: Whoops! The team got a little eager for SW "Black". Consider it a sneak peek! Fixing and will resend links via Drive-Thru in a few. If you got it from PEG you'll need to re-download with the correct skill list.
(These are some of the changes we made in Flash Gordon, btw, if you want to know more.)
Got my PDFs! Woo! I see that the Athletics skill is used -- where is that documented??
@Maelstrom: No. No books will incorporate SW "Black" until after that game is released. Fortunately, not much will change, especially anything in Irongate. The new rules are easily compatible with everything that's come before. Imagine we tweak an Edge, for example. Characters in Irongate with that Edge aren't affected... you just use the new rule when it comes out. Make sense?
@Richard: Thanks, friend!
@Allen: Thought I'd replied long ago...great to hear from you. Thanks for the support and hope you're doing well! :)
This may have been answered already [and I forgot to ask Clint when he stopped by the Palladium Booth @ Gen Con] but based on the release date, is it safe to assume that Irongate will incorporate [where needed] Savage Worlds: Black rules?
Glad to hear this project got funded. Looking forward to enhancing our Last Parsec campaign with this great plot point campaign. Well done!
Hey Shane this is Big Al from way back in the 90's. Ex GW employee. I have been enjoying Savage Worlds for some time now. Just backed this. Thank you for continuing your vision sir.
Thanks Brian, we plan to! I can't wait for you to see Goff's adventure, A Fistful of Ones and Zeros. :)
--Jodi for PEG
So if I get the LE Hardcover Box Set, I'm good to go. I already have all the other hardbacks, but I'm missing the collectors box, bennies and dice. I guess I'll just get the LE Set so I have everything.
The Last Parsec is currently my favorite setting, so I don't mind the extra shelf copies. :-) I"m hoping Pinnacle will continue to expand this line!
Except for the $150 Limited Edition Hardcover Box Sets, that's how we set up the reward levels to default to: softcover. We will have hardcovers available for all books (except Last Parsec Core) in the pledge manager survey after the Kickstarter ends.
You will be able to upgrade a softcover copy of Irongate to Limited Edition hardcover for $5.
Hope that helps!
One last question (I think), is the Irongate book only available in softcover?
Yes, it's the same size box. The hardcover Limited Edition books are only fractionally bigger than the softcover ones.
Is the box for the limited edition (hardback) the same size as the box for regular edition?
We plan to offer just the BOX part of the Boxed Sets as an Add On, but beware the shipping will be enormous comparatively.
We haven't "mathed" it out exactly yet, but it may be cheaper to order the Box Set as is, then find new homes for the books you don't need (or keep them as a shelf copy!). The reason we have not offered this before is because the boxes alone get damaged in shipping frequently. We'll need to make sure we charge enough for the handling to try and prevent that.
Hope that helps! Thank you for your support. :)
Will it be possible to add just the BOX from the Collector's Edition pledge level as an add-on? I already have all of the Last Parsec books in HC, and would love a slipcase for them.
@Mancario: Yes and yes!
The Last Parsec Minis will be an Add On for $60 (just like the pledge level says) for a set of all 12, including the florian and saurian.
And if there's anything you don't see in the pledge manager after the Kickstarter, but would like to add, just let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org. We have some time before that happens, but I'll try to post a reminder.
Gloria = florian... autocorrect:p
Are the other miniatures also available? For example the saurian and Gloria who were unlocked in the last Kickstarter.
Also can we add other stuff from your normal store later? For example the lankhmar book I missed. To save on Canadian shipping :)
@Peter: It was an experiment. We've changed that now. Thanks!
Did not see this KS before today as it is listed under "games" rather than the subgroup "tabletop games".
@Daniel: Add On $5 to be able to upgrade one book to hardcover later. You will also have the opportunity to do this in the survey following the Kickstarter.
How much will it cost to upgrade to a hardcover version of Irongate? Has this been determined yet?
@Timothy: Good question. We do not intend to order another print run of hardcovers. Once we're out of hardcover Limited Edition copies we have plenty of softcover regular editions to sell. And it sounds like your players just got sentenced to Irongate!
@Brian: The minis are made by our friends at Bronze Age out of 28 mm metal and not painted. Correct, the Irongate (Print) reward level plus an Add On copy of The Last Parsec Core (if you don't have it by now) will bring you up to speed!
What are the minis made of and are they pre-painted? Also, I have the slip cover set that came out not too long ago, so am I correct in thinking I only need the Irongate (Print) to have all of the material?
Are you going to reorder a hard copy run later on or will remain out of stock once you run out?
And backed! Thanks Peg! Been wondering what to do with my players since they purposely crashed a ship in to a mining town wiping out most of it's inhabitants. This should do nicely. lol
Hi Richard! Thanks for supporting us again! Yes, The Last Parsec Core book will be available as an Add On (but only for softcover). You can add $20 to your pledge now, or wait to add it in the survey after the Kickstarter.
I was part of the first Last Parsec kickstarter, for which there was no "core book" at that time. I backed at a level which included a GM screen. Thus, the level which includes Irongate and the core book also include the GM screen, so is it possible to have the core book as an add-on?
thank you for the answers Jodi.
Correction: The Limited Edition and softcover box sets have everything from the first Kickstarter for The Last Parsec, as well as the new release Irongate AND The Last Parsec Core book!
We released the Core book about a year after the Kickstarter, and stock on this product is the most limiting factor for the Limited Edition Box Set reward. We're almost out! I've asked the warehouse crew to check for any errant copies. :)
LE Hardcover Box coming my way!
Thanks for being the first backers on our latest project!
The Limited Edition (hardcover) Box Set and softcover box sets do have everything from the first Kickstarter from 2014, plus the new release: Irongate! We are almost out of stock on the LE hardcovers, which is why we've had to restrict that reward level. Once the hardcovers are gone...you get the idea. :)
Bennies and Dice will be available as Add Ons, but we may have to restrict their availability depending on how many pledge for the softcover Box Set.
Thanks for helping us spread the word about the new Kickstarter Booster!
Will Last Parsec Bennies and Dice be available as addons?
I was going to jump on the Hard back special, but it looks like those are the same books we got in the original LPS kickstarter.?
Ooo! First! 😀
