Recently, I received a fellowship to a four-week artist residency at the Vermont Studio Center. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know fellow artists and writers from across the country, as well as produce a new body of work.
Although my fellowship covers tuition, I still need a little help to make this opportunity a reality. I'm hoping to raise $1600 to cover my travel to Vermont, the purchase of art supplies, and the shipment of paintings.
Below is a listing of rewards I'm offering for those who pledge to help me achieve my goal.

Risks and challenges
Making a new body of work takes time, patience, and stability. At the Vermont Studio Center I will have four weeks of peaceful and undisturbed studio time. This will allow me to concentrate on painting and afford me the patience to construct paintings that aren't fettered by time constraints and outside distractions. The stability is where I'll need your help. In order for my time at the VSC to be productive, I'll need the confidence that I can spend this time making art. With your support I will have the assurance that I can use the art supplies that best suit me and the certainty that both my paintings and I can safely travel both to and from Vermont.
