With switchable profiles on the controller and full 360° movement, the Airro Mini flies like no other drone! Most consumer camera drones are only able to fly in 2 axis at a time, but the Airro Mini can fly in 3 at the flip of a switch. This opens up a whole new level of freedom in your flight experience and allows for freestyle acrobatic flying.
Compact, Touchscreen, Modern: A New Kind of Radio Controller
Gone are the days of bulky radio controllers with bulky antennae. The Airro Mini comes with a modern controller featuring a touchscreen, programmable LED lights, a protective cover, and a micro-USB charger. The Airro Mini comes configured to work out of the box with easy-to-learn instructions. Radio control will never be the same.

Immersive First-Person Flight
The Airro Mini FPV Kit comes complete with First Person goggles. Similar to virtual reality, FPV goggles receive a live video feed from the drone with minimal latency. Featuring a robust battery with around 3 hours of use between charges. The screen can also be removed and features a 6mm tripod nut so it can be viewed without the goggles as well. (tripod not included)
No More Static!
HD cameras are often seen on larger brushless race drones, with smaller-sized drones like the Airro Mini featuring either no camera at all or a small one that doesn't feature video recording or use a mobile app that causes more problems. Some pilots find ways to record their flights using external DVR recorders, which can leave static in your flight footage if the video signal isn't perfect. No more wasting mobile data on laggy, unsupported apps that take you out of the experience, just record your flight footage with the push of a button!
Small Camera, Big Possibilities
The Airro Mini features an immersive 700TVL FPV camera, giving the pilot a clear view when flying in first person. Unlike traditional Wi-Fi based camera systems, the Airro Mini uses a powerful 5.8GHz transmitter to send a live video signal directly to your goggles. This offers a direct video link and removes the lag and poor video feed quality that comes from WiFi based apps. With an analog video feed, you may get static when flying behind objects or when flying far away, but you won't have to deal with the anxiety that comes from a frozen phone screen while your drone flies away to who-knows-where.
On-Screen Display Battery Monitoring
Unlike Lithium-Ion batteries found in mobile phones, the more powerful Lithium-polymer batteries used in drones like the Airro Mini are vulnerable to damage if their charge is too low. Most consumer drones do not accurately measure voltage and will fly until the battery is empty and they are unable to take off again. This can lead to customers losing valuable flight time after just a few charges due to permanent Li-Po cell damage. The Airro Mini features active On-Screen Display (OSD) battery monitoring, giving the pilot a live feed of their battery voltage, protecting the life of their batteries and improving overall flight time.
Risks and challenges
Funding will be put towards raw materials for order fulfillment, as well as to cover R&D costs for future improvements in design and performance, including a protective cover for the camera that will provide more durability over our 3D printed camera mounts. Backers can expect pre-orders to ship out by November with continuous improvements added as production continues

The support of the crowdfunding community cannot be overlooked and we believe that support should definitely be rewarded. Stretch goal funding of $15k and up will allow us to 3D print custom carrying cases for our Airro Mini backers. If this campaign is able to surpass this goal and reach the $20k mark we will be able to launch the Mega Mini.
