The World of Center Sourcebook presents players and DM’s with an extensive range of expanded material designed around the 2nd edition of the first and original Fantasy RPG. The World of Center was created to be a full campaign world where the DM and players are able to run adventures within the realms.

The World of Center Sourcebook is the core reference guide providing the game features necessary to experience this expanded and augmented adventure setting. It is usable in whole or adaptable in part to any 2nd edition campaign and is adaptable to most other Fantasy RPG’s.
The 280 page book contains expanded classes, races, spells, magic items, monsters, consolidated combat options, deities, religious orders and more. Individually, the subjects covered can easily be taken piecemeal and inserted into any campaign and collectively provide a fully fleshed framework of rulings and expansions to launch a World of Center campaign.
PDF and print versions are being made available. Backers desiring the print version may choose between the trade paperback edition and the limited signed and numbered hardcover edition being made available.
The material contained in the World of Center Sourcebook has been collected, play-tested, and refined over and over by nearly 100 players running hundreds of characters through more than two decades of play. Many ideas were run and scrubbed with only the best included in the World of Center Sourcebook.
To date all content and art are written, submitted, and edited. The full document contents are formatted and print ready. The cover is fully complete as of this writing. All that remains is the printing and distribution.
The World of Center Sourcebook stands at 280 pages of new and original material for use in whole as a World of Center campaign rules set or in parts to add depth and excitement to any existing or startup fantasy RPG. The material provided works best when used with 2nd edition base game rules but is adaptable to nearly any Fantasy RPG.

The World of Center Sourcebook provides a range of class and racial options designed to return the game to a human centered and relate-able adventuring experience. Humans and the human experience in a magical and mysterious world are the focus of the World of Center and characters function as audience surrogates advancing the story-line and experiencing the adventure.
While Human sub-races dominate the game, other core racial options focus on expanded archetypes familiar to classic Fantasy Role Playing. Kruzch Orcs and Silver Elves are unique but instantly recognizable racial types ready to join the adventure.
Among the new classes, two new magic user types both using new and unique game mechanics provide options and depth to the adventuring party. The Alchemist is limited on the spur of the moment but deathly powerful if given time and resources to prepare. The Warlock is the pothead who fancies herself a spell caster until finally she is!!!
Over four dozen new spells for your priests, wizards, and spell casters are contained in the World of Center Sourcebook and you can find Alchemists concoctions, Tinker items, and even a guide to natural and manufactured Psychotropics and their effects. More than 40 new magic items and magic weapons unique to the World of Center can be found within.

Combat in 2nd edition often comes off as limited and reduced to repetitive hack and slash techniques. The World of Center Sourcebook compiles an easy to use guide to advanced combat options for your campaign. The sourcebook is complete with notes on initiative and combat maneuvers, optional rules on weapon size and wielder size, and single roll critical hit and fumble charts; a player favorite in our campaign for over two decades.
Inside the sourcebook are the languages and calendars of the World of Center, the priesthoods, and a holistic pantheon of deities unique to the World of Center. Notes on the pantheon, the deities, and their interactions with humans, demi-humans, and each other as well as the priesthoods dedicated to these forces provide a complete range of priestly options and adventure opportunities.
Finally of course; there are monsters. Nearly 70 pages of monsters including the Naz-Url Orcs, the Afterlords of Melekos, and the Horrors of Chaos.

Risks and challenges
The project contents including interior artwork and final draft of cover are complete and print ready.
Even with a project which is all but complete, and despite building in a margin for error to account for both time and funding difficulties, there are always going to be unforeseen circumstances.
A proof copy of the volume will need to be received and will require review prior to final printing. PDF copies will require delivery and print editions will need to be packaged and shipped. Shipping on print material is to U.S. destinations only and with shipping built into the cost, no further arrangements need to be made before the volumes can be delivered.
Though no major difficulties are anticipated, these are the realistic obstacles we still face before the product will be in the hands of our backers.
