We are Detroit based indie folk rock group After The Money Is Gone, or ATMIG for short. Earlier this year we released our single "Trip" into the universe via music video and 7" vinyl pressed at Jack White's Third Man Pressing in Detroit, Michigan. Both the vinyl single and the music video received tremendous support and accolades from fans, record stores, vinyl collectors, Michigan music venues, radio and other media. After four months, our music video has over 5,000 views on YouTube and our vinyl inventory is approaching depletion.
Now we need your help releasing our first full length album!
The album will be entitled "Wishes" and we plan to feature the following eleven tracks: 1) Intro, 2) Trip, 3) Mend, 4) No One’s Home, 5) GWH, 6) On Fumes, 7) Pail, 8) Wishes, 9) Whale, 10) Elliott Smith, 11) Ride (bonus). The album will be pressed on green vinyl and also be available for digital download.
ATMIG would like Wishes to be a contribution to not only Michigan music but also Michigan industry. That is why we are using exclusively Michigan vendors to create this album--to name a few, Soundscape Studios (Royal Oak), The Foxboro (Grand Rapids), Heart District Photography (Dryden), Real Too Real Design (Madison Heights), and Third Man Pressing (Detroit). We are shopping exclusively Michigan vendors for manufacturing of the campaign's rewards, as well.
We are humbled by and grateful for the support we have received to date. Once more, please consider supporting ATMIG, Michigan music and Michigan industry by contributing to our campaign!
Give us a shout if you have any questions!!!
Risks and challenges
ATMIG works very quickly in the recording studio. Nonetheless, in the event of any family emergencies or manufacturing delays, our target release date could be delayed.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
