The first question I get about Line Simulator is usually along the lines of, "What the hell is this?" Now I could go on for hours about how Line Simulator 2015 is an experience beyond words, it is something unlike anything you have ever seen before, but I simply respond by saying, "It is Perfection."

However, if there is somehow enough interest, a linux, a console (ps3, ps4, 360, one) and a mobile (iOS, Android, Windows) port will come soon after. There will be Oculus Rift compatibility at launch, and hopefully Prior VR compatibility will come soon after. That being said, if the community wants something added, then that will take priority over what I want done. Lets say, for some weird reason, everyone wants the game to be on OUYA, I will make sure that gets done before anything else.
Line Simulator 2015 is a game for everyone, those who love controlled, cinematic experiences, and for those who love a completely non-linear experience with no end goal. Some lines are infinite! Others are filled with QTE's and excellent voice acting. No matter what kind of gamer you are, you will love Line Simulator 2015. I *promise you will not be let down!

Of course while this is a parody of the gaming industry as a whole, it still is a full game, otherwise I would gladly release it for free to everyone. As you may have spotted in the gameplay demo, there are a few humorous remarks sporadically being made. That was just a taste, we hope to add enough audio and idle conversation to make you (seriously) want to wait in the line. In fact, regardless if you backed us or not, shoot us an email, I would love to hear if you have any funny lines (pun intended) for us to use in the game!

Hopefully we will be able to make the game have some actual production value at some point. Beyond making the game look pretty, and adding different environments, we hope to add some things to make the game fun, while maintaining the authentic line experience. For example, being able to check your phone, having to deal with cutters, and lots more!
I can't imagine many people will get this far, however if you do, I appreciate you wasting your time reading about a game that will have little to no impact on your life!

The base of the game has already been built, we have our revolutionary Line AI technology already in place, what we need now is to expand on this. Without the funding though, we can't do much of anything really, even if the idea is basic, we hope to make it something really cool and fun in the long run!
The other problem is that it is only myself and another part time programmer working on the project. Even for something as simple as this, it is a large workload to place on two people. With the funding we hope to recruit help immediately to help speed up development and help us achieve things we can't do on our own.

Queue/Line Simulator is a joke, but our end goal for the product is to make something fun. I mean, don't worry, the core gameplay will remain the same, I know how much you hardcore fans hate change! (Because there are tons of you, right?) But we will strike a balance between making it fun and still being absolutely stupid.
How will we make it fun, you ask? Hopefully by adding a lot more funny dialogue while you are waiting, by making the environments interactive, and by adding lots of features! (see below)

On launch we will support the Oculus and hopefully some other VR systems! It will be fully integrated, (hopefully the menus as well), and it will be 100% part of the game. The oculus is an amazing product (even after they got eaten up by the evil Facebook), and we will be sure to make it compatible. I have a pre-pre-pre-pre alpha build with it, and it is looking good.
