About The Film
'On The Rocks' is a short film being made for our dissertation at the University of Sunderland. The film is about Paul, an estranged father, who attempts to reconnect with his son and daughter by taking them on a trip to the seaside. However the day does not go as planned and as tempers rise, it appears that it may be harder to repair their broken relationship than he first thought.

What Will The Money Be Spent On?
The money will be spent on acquiring the best possible actors, locations and props to increase the production value of the film and will enrich the story of the film.
A range of locations are used in the film which will result in expenses, however we feel it is necessary to tell the story effectively to make it reach it's full potential.
We will be looking to reduce costs in any way possible, but some costs in film-making are just unavoidable.

Risks and challenges
We face many challenges when film-making such as the weather, faulty equipment and the cast and crew falling ill. Though there are lots of potentials issues at hand, we can do nothing be persevere to create the best film possible. We will put in measures such as having alternate locations or actors and leaving extra time for reshoots.
Through the thick and thin that comes with film making, as a group we will stick together, and with your help we shall succeed.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
