In Prospectus, players are apprentice-level mages who earn their tower rent by trading potions in the underground Kriztus potion market. Using their powers, they can peer into their crystal balls to predict prices and make their fortunes. But beware! Their prognostication is not perfect, especially when rival wizards cast spells to advance their own agendas!

Meanwhile, the greedy, power-mad High Council demands potions as well. A timely sale will make a recipe fashionable, and raise its price in the market, but if the council does not get what it wants, they will retaliate, by telling the townsfolk that the potion is nothing but fizzwater and newt juice.

The mage that is able to earn the most money through cunning investments, shrewd spell-casting, and lucrative sales to the council, will be the most successful potion trader and win the game! Heck, maybe you can even pay off your tab at the Drunken Dragon Inn...

MSRP is not set yet but expected to be between $59.99 and $69.99.

 Bring on the Stretch Goals!

We made our funding goal is just over 24hrs! Thanks everyone!

All Money in the game will now be die cut into custom shapes!

This is an addition to EVERY COPY of Prospectus.

We LOVE this spell - but its slightly random and unpredictable. It basically allows you to slam your fist on the table next to the Crystal Ball - causing (hopefully) extra cubes to fall out! Super cool, and a perfect promo item!

This is a Limited Edition KS Exclusive - Backers will get 4 copies of this spell and it will not be in the retail copies of the game!

A new Potion Ability! This potion allows you to secretly deposit 2 cubes of your choice from the bank into the Council Chamber!

This is an addition to EVERY COPY of Prospectus.

This is a fun little spell Chad dreamed up. It lets you look at the top 3 cards of the Future Deck to get an idea on what the market might be up to a bit down the road!

This is a Limited Edition KS Exclusive - Backers will get 4 copies of this spell and it will not be in the retail copies of the game!

What's next? Some secrets we are just not ready to reveal yet! Check our KS page soon!

Maybe there is even more we could mix up after...

WOW! This thing looks amazing! Is it REAL? How does it work?

It sure is real! We 3d printed the prototype and are ready to have a mold made to produce the ball itself once we are funded.

It works sorta like a dice tower, actually. When the High Council Future Cards process, you take all the different potion ingredients (translucent cubes) and toss them in the Crystal Ball to see what happens to the prices of your potions! Depending on what comes out, and the direction of the arrows, prices will be effected.

One of the cool things about the Crystal Ball is, you never know what the future might hold in it (but you have a glimpse - to make an educated guess!)

Example: You notice that Frog Juice is about to go up in price as noted by the green up arrow on the High Council Future Card that is about to execute. You buy extra Frog Juice, because odds are, when you throw green cubes into the Crystal Ball, some might come out - especially since we can see there are two stuck in there from last turn! (see them below?)

Above is a 3d render of the base and the Crystal Ball. Notice the Council Chamber Door on the right side? That is a hidden compartment in the Base that holds the High Councils demand ingredients!

Check out some of our Prototype Crystal Ball images. We worked with a 3d artist and 3d printer with several prototypes until we got just the right balance of cube displacement. We are ready to mass produce the crystal ball with your support here on kickstarter. Lets do this! You know you want one!

Prospectus Rules

Below is an overview of the game.

PROTOTYPE set of Prospectus at Gencon 2015!

We hope you like Prospectus as much as we do, and will consider pledging today!

Your pledge includes at least a $6 shipping subsidy!

Estimated shipping costs will be added after your pledge via the new Kickstarter shipping system as follows:

USA - $10 Canada - $22 EU - $27 Worldwide $45+

The above costs are estimates. Shipping prices change all the time and some countries rates may vary, and may require additional shipping costs or taxes. We do not expect these rates to vary much, but if something does change we will let everyone know via an update.

Shipping will be via Funagain Games' Fulfillment services. If you are looking for a great fulfilment solution, they can be reached here. Some overseas countries may be subject to tariffs (but in our experiences, it is rare if ever).

PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer shipping to Brazil, Russia, or South Africa due to high fees and unreliable delivery beyond our control.

BRAZIL UPDATE - We are in negotiations with a partner from Brazil, and hope to offer our friends here an option for Prospectus VERY SOON!

BIG 3 Friendly - Rewards bound for the USA, Canada and EU will ship via local carriers via a fulfillment service. It is our experience that some taxes may still apply in certain countries that is outside of our control (but is rare if ever).

Kickstarter Exclusives

Not all of our Stretch Goals are Exclusive or limited! All Exclusives are subject to possible future inclusion in any potential future Kickstarter expansions should future demand warrant it.

Kickstarter Exclusives and Stretch Goals may be available at a later date, for a fee, but are FREE to backers. So far, we have not reprinted any of our previous games' exclusives, and they are all hard to find or unavailable! Back today, to avoid missing out tomorrow!

Risks and challenges

With every project there are risks, but we hope that our past track record in publishing, as well as Sean's design and development work at Mr. B. Games and Eagle Games will put everyone's minds at ease. Mr. B. Games has delivered on 5 Kickstarter projects in 2014-2015 with only 2 being late by 1 month each, and 2 delivered early! We are not new to the industry and have been making games in some capacity since 2005. With our previous experiences we can pool from the 10+ years of lessons (both good and bad) to ensure a smooth, and accurate production and delivery. We hope that you will help support us in our publishing efforts, and thank you in advance for your confidence in Mr. B. Games!

Our first two projects, Spurs and Alien Uprising have delivered to folks Worldwide on time or within 1 month of projection. Realm of Heroes, our 3rd project, has delivered 1 month behind schedule and is the first of our 2015 releases. Clockwork Kingdom has delivered 2 months ahead of schedule for our 2nd 2015 release this past February. Spurs Wood Bullets also delivered early, by 1 month in March. Our co-project Dungeon Lords was not printed or fulfilled by Mr. B. Games but by CGE and was delayed several months due to shipping issues and customs issues outside of their or our control. Our 2nd co-project Posthuman is on schedule for a October delivery as is our 3rd co-project Warquest which is on schedule for a January delivery.
