Mighty Box is a game design studio from Malta. The team has taken the development of Posthuman as far as their resources will allow, spending countless hours playtesting the game, polishing the artwork and refining the design. They have teamed up with the folks at Mr. B. Games to help with the production, shipping, fulfillment and distribution, but need your help to fund the actual printing of the game. We have lots of plans for expansion possibilities, and we feel Kickstarter is the perfect platform to realize the full potential of this game.
In Posthuman you play as one of the last human survivors in a world where nature is reclaiming the planet and our mutated offspring are working to eradicate us. Will you resist mutation and survive, or give in to the inevitable and join the mutants?
In the game, players start off as humans on a solitary journey to a rumored fortress harbouring a community of humans. To reach the fortress the players need to complete ten zones successfully. These zones are found on tiles of varying terrain that are drawn by the players as they explore the world. On their travels the players have the opportunity to meet other human players to trade items and use beneficial skills on each other. They will also encounter randomly drawn mutant adversaries and be assailed by players who have switched to the mutant side. Encounters with mutants may inflict scars, and the more scars players have, the closer they will be to mutating and switching sides. Will they strive to cling to their humanity and make a run for the fortress, thus winning the game? Or will they give in to the ever more tempting mutation, join the mutants, and deny the win from the rest of the humans?

Mr. B. Games - a small publishing company started by Sean Brown in 2005 to publish his own game designs. After a few small card games (Teraforming, Stoplights), Mr. B. Risks and challenges
With every project there are risks, but we hope that our past track record in publishing, as well as Sean's design and development work at Mr. B. Games and Eagle Games will put everyone's minds at ease. Mr. B. Games has delivered on 5 Kickstarter projects in 2014-2015 with only 2 being late by 1 month each, and 2 delivered early! We are not new to the industry and have been making games in some capacity since 2005. With our previous experiences we can pool from the 9+ years of lessons (both good and bad) to ensure a smooth, and accurate production and delivery. We hope that you will help support us in our publishing efforts, and thank you in advance for your confidence in Mr. B. Games!
Mighty Box Games has partnered with Mr. B. Games to help establish a smooth transition from end campaign to printing and fulfillment. Posthuman is a co-published release so pledge with confidence that the print quality and shipping care will be handled by Mr. B. Games at a level of excellence and speed of their previously published projects.
Our first two projects, Spurs and Alien Uprising have delivered to folks Worldwide on time or within 1 month of projection. Realm of Heroes, our 3rd project, has delivered 1 month behind schedule and is the first of our 2015 releases. Clockwork Kingdom has delivered 2 months ahead of schedule for our 2nd 2015 release this past February. Spurs Wood Bullets also delivered early, by 1 month in March. Our co-project Dungeon Lords was not printed or fulfilled by Mr. B. Games but by CGE and was delayed several months due to shipping issues and customs issues outside of their or our control.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
