We are as small table top game studio branching out to our first card game. we wanted the first game to be fast and family friendly. 9 card dungeon is a race type game where each player has a special ability to help them along the way. the dungeon is randomly created and never the same twice in a row.
9 card dungeon is a tile based game where the cards create a random dungeon for 2 to 4 players to explore. The dungeon has many obstacles to overcome. Each player choose a different color meeple and each meeple has an advantage with a set obstacle.
The game will have 14 cards to create your dungeon from one start card one end card and 12 others to choose from to randomly create your dungeon. Each card has multiple spaces and obstacles to move through and tackle.
Place the start (face up) card in the center of your play area then take the end card and 7 other cards you have chosen to use, shuffle them and place them around the start card (face down).
Each player (up to 4) will chose a meeple to explore the dungeon. Each meeple is a different color and can move around a type of obstacle with more ease. Red can move past monsters easier, white can move past skills easier, green can move past chasms easier and blue can move past traps easier. Place the chosen meeple in the start circle.
Move each meeple a space at a time in the direction they wish to explore. If the meeples reach the edge of a card flip over the card nearest them. If a meeple reaches a obstacle roll to see if they pass it. If the meeple is unable to pass the obstacle they return to the start square.
The first meeple to the end square wins.
The purpose of this kick starter is raising money to pay for a first print run.
Risks and challenges
The game is done the only challenge will be getting the first print run complete any out to you! if we make any stretch goals we will have to get the new art and cards complete but other than that the game is done the only challenge will be getting the first print run complete any out to you!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
