Thanks to all who came out to the first ever Ott & The All-Seeing I tour, October 2012 in the USA. We are delighted to tell you that we recorded the show at Terminal West in Atlanta GA! 24 tracks of 24 bit high definition audio, and nine camera's of 1080p HD 24fps video. It looks and sounds amazing.
We would love to share this video with you as a full length DVD with special features, behind the scene footage, time-lapse footage, interviews, and more, but we need your help to raise the funding required for the editing and manufacturing of the project. It's a huge undertaking to make it all happen, but are excited for you to contribute and to be part of the process. If all goes as planned, we'll have it sorted out and available spring 2013.
Risks and challenges
Editing video is an expensive and time-consuming business and we have over 20 hours of footage to work with. What we have looks fantastic and as such this is is a pretty low-risk venture.
But - the challenge of reducing 20 hours down to two hours is considerable and will require your help to make it happen. We are fortunate to have some very talented and skilful people to call upon but this project will require that they be shut in an airless, windowless room for two months until the project is complete.
You pledge will enable us to shove raw meat and Polish vodka through a hatch in the door to sustain them through their ordeal.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
If we don't reach our goal everyone gets their money back and we all go and get jobs at Taco Bell.
Possibly in future but for now it's going to be standard DVD [albeit very high quality] and stereo soundtrack. I'll be mixing the soundtrack myself.
