Dear Kickstarters, We finished the 3D engineering with the mouse factory and they sent the design to the PCB board factory to build PCB boards for the new prototypes. 

The PCB factory said on Friday that the distance between the optical sensor and the tip is too long at 20mm, they suggested 5mm. I have suggested 10mm, because, if we make the cone length too short then the side of the gStick will touch the surface when used to write or draw.  

If they approve this new design, then they will make 2 new prototype for testing. Upon approval, we will move into production of the gStick ASAP. Thank you for your support and patience.

      Wow. 4 months with no update. It may be safe to say this is it and the charade is now over.

      ***Note: I am not suggesting KS has done anything wrong or has any liability whatsoever under their current TOS/EULA. I'm sure they don't.

      I am suggesting that it may be possible to encourage them to take a stronger role in vetting and questioning projects and the only way that happens is through the formal complaint process.
      Most businesses care very little about an irate call on the phone or even a letter.

      Send a certified letter to the president of the company, cc the entire exec committee and board of directors and threaten to file a complain with the Attorney General and in most cases, it will actually get reviewed by a brain.

      If the AG gets enough complaints from backers, they may investigate and ask the KS officers what steps they take to keep fraud low? If the business has no safeguards and blatantly allows fraud, they may take steps.

      It's almost three years overdue, just give it up, the guy took a lot of overseas vacations on us. The lists won't matter, we've been asking for refunds pretty much yearly now, haven't we?. Doesn't anyone know a class action attorney or a law student that would like to get a nice percentage of the $130k?

      I have written public notes on these pages several times now asking for you to show proof that a contractual relationship exists with a factory to produce these sticks (in the form of a PO, contractual engagement agreements, cancelled checks etc - or even simply NAMING the factory you are dealing with - and have no seen reply from you.

      Why is that?

      All I see is a picture that you have now drawn a red circle around and added an arrow.

      And a story that to my ears, sounds like:
      You finished the (unseen schematic) of the 3D engineering with the (unknown) mouse factory and sent the (again - unseen) design to (yet another unknown) 'PCB Board Factory'.

      NOBODY GIVES A DAMN about your 5mm vs 10mm or even 20mm BS.

      At this point obviously nobody believes a word you are saying.

      It appears to me, since you have shown ZERO GOOD FAITH in showing documentation of your statements, that you are merely keeping up this charade to avoid the appearance of an ABANDONED project and furthermore , the appearance of a FOUNDER who has apparently ABSCONDED with the funds.

      I do not see any evidence that you ever spent even 1/4 of your funds as you never made it beyond TESTING - per your updates.

      Of course, I could be wrong. You are welcome to straighten me out on this, in the form of an actual update with documentation you are and have been acting in good faith all along....

      I am suggesting that it may be possible to encourage them to take a stronger role in vetting and questioning projects and the only way that happens is through the formal complaint process. Most businesses care very little about an irate call on the phone or even a letter. Send a certified letter to the president of the company, cc the entire exec committee and board of directors and threaten to file a complain with the Attorney General and in most cases, it will actually get reviewed by a brain. If the AG gets enough complaints from backers, they may investigate and ask the KS officers what steps they take to keep fraud low? If the business has no safeguards and blatantly allows fraud, they may take steps.

      You have to be given credit for still trying to cover your butt with this bull crap update on a project that was only ever intended to be a scam. I can only hope that as they say "you reap what you sow" and "what goes around comes around'. So just man up and stop feeding the line of bull and let us know what really happened to the Money.

      Mr. Stewart,

      I have written public notes on these pages several times now asking for you to show proof that a contractual relationship exists with a factory to produce these sticks (in the form of a PO, contractual engagement agreements, cancelled checks etc - or even simply NAMING the factory you are dealing with - and have no seen reply from you.

      Why is that?

      All I see is a picture that you have now drawn a red circle around and added an arrow.

      And a story that to my ears, sounds like:

      You finished the (unseen schematic) of the 3D engineering with the (unknown) mouse factory and sent the (again - unseen) design to (yet another unknown) 'PCB Board Factory'.

      NOBODY GIVES A DAMN about your 5mm vs 10mm or even 20mm BS.

      At this point obviously nobody believes a word you are saying.

      It appears to me, since you have shown ZERO GOOD FAITH in showing documentation of your statements, that you are merely keeping up this charade to avoid the appearance of an ABANDONED project and furthermore , the appearance of a FOUNDER who has apparently ABSCONDED with the funds.

      I do not see any evidence that you ever spent even 1/4 of your funds as you never made it beyond TESTING - per your updates.

      Of course, I could be wrong. You are welcome to straighten me out on this, in the form of an actual update with documentation you are and have been acting in good faith all along......

      But who am I kidding? I'm talking to myself over here.

      Quite frankly, in the years since pledging for this project it has become clear to me how useless this would be given other advances in technology. Even if Gordon was able to ever deliver something at this point, I would be tossing it in the trash without opening it because it has absolutely zero potential to work better than current options.

      HAHAHA. Was looking at the main campaign page, and saw this:

      After 3-years of R&D and prototype testing, we are now ready for tooling, final testing and a production run. This successful Kickstarter campaign will pay for tooling and, 65 days later, our mouse factory will deliver production samples. As soon as we sign-off on these samples, we'll have up to 20,000 units within 45-days.

      Oh well!! Hope you enjoyed our 130K Gordo!

      OK people, enough with the lists. Their pointless and just take up space.
      Just accept the fact this project is going nowhere.
      This last update is a testament to that.
      If he's working with a mouse factory for design, then they should know what the requirements for the PCB are. If not, then the mouse factory isn't a mouse factory, but a molding company that is just designing a case with no idea of what's going inside.
      FYI that's not how to design something.
      Gordon should be designing the working bits first then designing the packaging around it.
      But as usual it's just another FLUSTER CLUCK!!
