The Stomping Land Early Access

The Stomping Land is finally available for anyone to jump in! It is a very exciting time to reach this point, and there is plenty to talk about with gaming and dinosaur enthusiasts.

Even though the game is available, development is still in full force, and now is the time where anyone can share their suggestions on how to shape up the game moving forward. Already, I've gathered an amazing amount of useful information since the first release just last week.

Thanks again, backers of The Stomping Land, and stay tuned for more content as development continues.

What the hell... So the creator, (Alex) just left? Apparently he is now working with the new Engine released. Unreal Engine 4. Some type of update would be nice... At least have the decency to tell us that you are gonna screw us all over.....

The game is great so far, but still a long way to go! The fact that punctuation can now be used when typing is in itself a massive improvement. I do, however, think that options for graphics, mouse sensitivity and sound levels should be implemented ASAP. Thankfully the ground is no longer coated in a thick layer of olive oil, and I seem to have better luck standing still :P can't wait for implementation of customisable hunters and totems! Using your tamed dino as a pack mule should be handy.

Suggest that you work on tamed aggressive dinos attacking tribe members, and was wondering when high-tier backers will be getting their guidebooks? Thanks!

A few more options are needed. Like mouse sensitivity and graphics. I'm lagging terribly at the moment

How do we play if we are a backer?

    9. Larry Barriere on May 30, 2014

I should mention also, that i've had alot of fun in the ferw hours playing it. Especially when I was surrounded by Carno's as they attacked other dinosaurs, not seeing me hiding in the brush. One even came within biting distance but those bushes saved me.

Where's the best place to send input about the game? I've had a couple issues already.

      1. Switching to FullScreen sends me to my desktop. after which I can't get back into the game ever again unless i delete the folder and reboot steam, because it will keep dropping me to desktop. (perhaps having a settings window pop up before the game starts. At least for now during testing.

      2. the Bow- I was literally 1 foot away from a gallimimus shooting at it, and not hitting. I think the arrow itself needs to be alot more visible when it's fired so we can adjust accordingly. Worse case, some kind of cross hair needs to be there.

      Fourscore and...

[looks at pocket watch] hour ago... we, your backers and fans, were brought forth upon a most excellent adventure conceived by our new friends, Alex... and SuperCrit LLC. These gentlemen/ladies are dedicated to a proposition which was true in my time, just as it's true today. Be excellent to each other. And... PARTY ON, DUDES!
