WE HIT OUR TARGET!!! Help us meet our new target to upgrade our equipment and make a really powerful Festival worthy film ~~~<3
The Box is a story that takes us deep into the heart of a gifted painter, Annie, when she is on the rise to success after a long road of struggling in the mainstream art world, and simultaneously grieving the loss of her ex-boyfriend, Shane.
The Box explores core feelings we all experience when it comes to balancing love and following our passion. Ultimately it is about the healing power of art when we grieve a great loss in our lives.
To create a visually stunning and emotionally touching film that incorporates the theme of being an Artist in today's Modern Culture; what it requires to balance ones’ passion, ones’ relationships and how art can be a great healing modality for grief of any kind.
The team of film makers working on "The Box" are committed, experienced, professional, passionate and creative.
We believe in this story and our intention is to create a piece of our own Art which will be etched in time forever.
Everything is original in this film. The writing, the paintings, the music... We have a pool of talent between us and we believe we have an opportunity to create magic!
Already, we are each putting in our own resources, time, talent. No one is getting paid. With your support combined, we are really able to create a strong film of cinematic quality.

Risks and challenges
Making a film is a planned, organic process with so many potential points of "failure" along the way. We've done our best to minimize those by working with talented, passionate people who are committed to seeing this project birthed into the public consciousness.
The biggest, most consistent challenge is managing resources and problem-solving when there's an issue...and, there's usually issues that arise along the way. The amount of experience we bring to the project definitely helps us do a good job of preparing and planning ahead of time. Finances are always a challenge, even with the most carefully planned projects...but, we're hoping that your support will help us bridge that gap. Unforeseen issues with light, sound, and timing can sometimes create challenges but we feel we have enough experience problem-solving, along with a love for this project and positivity that we are ready to embrace the ride. We hope you'll come with us on it!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
