The Jambourine by Marlowe allows percussion to be a part of the guitar. It is a sound hole tambourine for acoustic guitars. The Jambourine sits out of the way under the strings until the player slaps the strings or strums across the jingles to the beat.
There are many different ways to activate the tambourine sound while playing whether it's slapping the strings with your pick, thumb, fingers, or wrist, or strumming harder across the jingles with or without a pick. It is easily installed and taken out without having to remove the strings. It is also flexible so it fits most sound holes.
Back in April, Marlowe won the MTSU Business Plan Competition grand prize of $7,500. This allowed him to finalize the manufacturing process and attend NAMM, the world's largest music trade show, which was a big success. Marlowe will use the earnings from this campaign to order inventory.
