Help make our first FULL LENGTH album a reality!
In the Tritones' 18 years of existence, the group has released 2 EPs: Augment (2011) and Take My Heart (2012). However, we have yet to release a full length album. That is exactly what we are in the process of doing!
We've been lucky enough to open for Far East Movement and perform alongside Taylor Swift. Additionally, we've made it to ICCA semi-finals on several occasions and took first place at the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LAAF) this year!
Our album, titled Out of Control, will feature many of the songs and mash-ups that have appeared in our various competition sets, such as Rather Be, This is How We Roll, and Neighbor Punks (our Sweater Weather/Get Lucky mash-up). This album is meant to capture our passion and love of music through the songs we've arranged and worked so hard to perfect over the past two years.
What can you do to help?
Releasing a full length album is expensive. Between recording, editing, mixing, mastering, licensing, CD production, and finalizing costs, our total cost for this album is roughly $8,100. That's a lot for 15 poor college students.
Any amount you care to contribute, from $5 to $5,000, will be incredibly beneficial to making our album a reality! We've even prepared a few gifts for your generosity.
We absolutely appreciate your support!
Yours,
The Tritones
Risks and challenges
We're mostly through mastering the tracks, but we've yet to put out the actual album to be printed and pressed. Our cd's, given everything stays on track, should be shipped by our Album Release Show (May 30, 2015).
