I am completing my second original jazz album, “Just In Time” for the Jeff Brooks Quartet. The original compositions are eclectic, ranging from depression era, blues, standard sounding jazz, to Iranian influenced beats. The recording process has been completed with an all-star cast of musicians and the album art is nearly finished. I have poured myself into this project over the past two years and am now ready to release this deeply personal album.
"Just In Time", is dedicated to the memory of my big brother, Justin. Through music we are able to express our deepest emotions.
I am planning to use top of the industry mixing and mastering engineers and Discmakers (New Jersey) for cd duplication. With your help, “Just In Time” will be in production, via Discmakers, sometime in September. It is my goal to have copies of the album available in approximately late September with digital downloads available shortly before.
Multiple album release parties and performances will be available to all my kickstarter.com patrons. When I have CDs in hand, I will start booking album release shows.
This is an all-or-nothing goal and the money you pledge will only come out of your account if the goal is reached. We can, however, go over the goal until the deadline.
-Mixing = approximately $1,000
-Mastering = approximately $1,000
-Album Art + Recording Engineer = approximately $1,000
-CD Manufacturing and Duplication = approximately $1,000
-Studio Musicians = approximately $1,000
