**WIN A SPIRAL T-SHIRT? All you have to do is wear make-up. See update #7**
**NOTE TO NON-AMERICANS: That black market-y currency you see is NOK (Norwegian kroner). kr27000 goal ≈ $3000. The US $ stated in the reward tiers are approximations. (Americans, you should see your own currency appear.)**
Hi and welcome to our underworld and the Spiral Kickstarter campaign, our first heist of 2016! Check out the video and read below to learn what's at stake! We hope you'll join the gang and be part of our shadowy crew to bring Spiral to life!
THIS IS SPIRAL
While rough cop Olivia is denied her father's vigilante mantle, Michael, son of a prominent gang leader, feels it's time to step out of his father's shadow. The world is a small place, and nothing can stop the coming havoc of violence and vigilantism...
- SPIRAL is a crime noir comic book in four parts, created by Magnus Aspli, Emerson Dimaya and Nic J Shaw.
- SPIRAL is about street level justice versus the system, about family and legacy, and how easy it is for everything to spiral out of control...
- SPIRAL is a Nordic noir meets a female Punisher - with a dose of American History X and BBC's The Shadow Line - set in London.

Because of you! We have the opportunity to connect directly to you, our readers and fans. We want to give you the best crime comic possible and with Kickstarter we can do just that.
SPIRAL issue 1 is done and ready for print. 24 hot story pages of unrelenting noir, wrapped in criminally delicious design.
We have paid with blood, sweat and hard-earned cash to finish the production of issue one, but by coming to Kickstarter we hope to use your blood, sweat and hard-earned cash to pay for printing & distributing issue one and financing the production of issue two... for some terrific spoils, of course, as you can see in the rewards.
Then we come back to Kickstarter to do the same with issue 2. If this campaign goes well we can go right into production with issue two, and when we launch that campaign we'll be ready to print and deliver issue 2 quite fast, like we do now with issue one. Then we rinse the blood off our hands and repeat, until all four issues are done and on your table.
To make sure the future of Spiral won't be a bumpy ride straight to jail, it's important we get this first getaway car to work and reach our goal. The ball is in your court, dear reader, so please; check out everything, grab one of those rewards and let your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, crime bosses and world leaders know!

HOW DOES KICKSTARTER WORK?
For those of you who are new to Kickstarter, a few pointers:
Money from your card/account will be withdrawn only after the campaign ends and only if it's successful. Repeat: If we don't reach our goal, no money will be transferred. It's an all or nothing game. You can change your pledge at any point until the campaign ends. Changed your mind and want to pick a lower reward or a higher reward? Go for it. Any questions, just message me right here on Kickstarter. Click that Contact Me next to my profile picture, and I'll try to respond asap.
Risks and challenges
The comic book is finished so the only hurdles are to get it printed and shipped out to you. We're working with KrakenPrint, a professional printing and distribution service, so everything will run smoothly and efficiently.
Delays in shipping with both printing and distribution of rewards might occur of course, by elements outside of our control. Weather, disasters and worse. Any problems that occur due to this we'll do our best to fix as soon as possible.
The production of future issues rely on the the team, of course. We have many years of experience and have done this several times, so we know what we're capable of. We cannot foresee any illnesses or personal events that might delay production, but if any occur we'll of course be forthcoming and communicative, and find a solution to reach our goal nonetheless.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
