Fifth&Brannan is an independent men’s fashion label based in San Francisco.
Fifth&Brannan's website and blog are run by me, Katie Wintrode, founder and head designer. I document the brand’s creative journey from inception to the launch of its premiere line.
We hope you follow our journey and experience every challenge and success with us firsthand, which will all culminate in the release of our Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
About Katie: I developed my love for men’s fashion when I first visited Italy in 2008. My love evolved into a passion to outfit the sartorially conscious man, and Fifth&Brannan was born. Nowadays, I spend every free moment developing this line. While it’s taking longer than I’d like (due to a full-time job and the fact that I’m funding everything on my own), I’m still on schedule to launch my premiere Fall/Winter 2011 line in the summer of 2011.
What makes Fifth&Brannan unique? Every garment I create for Fifth&Brannan is 100% made in the USA. Our fabric is purchased from distributors in New Jersey and Missouri. The brand itself was conceived, developed, and produced right here in San Francisco. We love this City and hope that love resonates through all levels of the brand, from concept to the final product.
We focus on classic silhouettes with subtle, built-in details, most of which are just for the wearer to see. We feel this adds a bit of personality and intimacy to each garment, made especially for the guys who put on our clothes.
Where you come in: We are asking for your help with funds to cover textiles, production, and other necessary expenses for an on time delivery date for our Fall/Winter 2011 collection. I've funded everything entirely on my own thus far, and now we need the extra boost to actually make this release possible.
Remember, no contribution is too small. All donations will be greatly appreciated and go directly to the launch of my premiere line. Please take a moment to check out my video and website for more information.
I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to email me at email@example.com
