The true story of Ira, a young mother sitting in a tree challenging her fragile existence; while a rope languishes around her neck.
Foremost, thank you for your time in considering this project and I truly hope it ignites your interest in a story that needs to be told. Ira, a beautiful, young mother and a breathtaking Outsider artist, stepped from a branch with a rope around her neck on a sunny Monday morning. Plagued by ill treatment at the hands of those she loved and with accusations of mental instability, Ira struggled for the best part of her young life to have her voice heard. With an infectious smile and a troubled soul, Ira was convinced her journey would not begin until she departed this world. Her journey began on June 17, 2002. With the goal of premiering at the Cannes film festival, we hope this film will be recognized for the potential it has to help those suffering from the myriad of emotions that consume the abandoned when a loved one commits suicide. All funds raised will go directly to the filming and post production of Ira, which will take place in Los Angeles. Consisting of a twelve man production crew for shooting, all with IMDB credits, and a three man post production crew, also with IMDB credits, our team is fully committed to highlighting the beauty that can be found even in the darkest of times. A copy of the script will also be available to investors. Once again, I sincerely appreciate your consideration of Ira, and trust you find the value in this film.
