Detective Cola Issue #1
Detective Cola, a cola filled jelly bean in a world that was once sunny and sweet, but is now dull and sour
Who am I?- My name is Jarren Arreola. I am 16 and live in Salinas California, I am also the writer and creator of Detective Cola. I have been a comic book fan since I was in the 7th grade. I remenber the first comic book I ever read, its was a Christmas gift, it was "Batman: Venom". Ever since then I've loved comic books. I love them so much that I started to write my own comic books in the 8th grade. One of the comic ideas I came up with is Detective Cola. My goal is to get the comic book funded and make comics people like and enjoy reading.
What is Detective Cola?- Detective Cola is a concept I came up with while in the 8th grade. I have been building the story, character, and world ever since then. Detective Cola is a action, mystery, crime comic that follows Detective Cola as he gets to the bottom of whats going on in Sugar Cane City.
What is the purpose of the Kickstarter?- I am launching this Kickstarter to fund the 1st book of the series "Detective Cola". The book is going to be over 100 pages long. My plan is to get $12,500 which will pay for the artist to draw the comic book, the colorist to color the pages, and for the comic book to be printed and shipped.
Rewards?- I only have one reward tier, and it is just the physical copy of the (softcover)book for $25
Who else is involved with this project?- I have contacted a professional team of creators
