About this project
We are a team of creative like-minded persons engaged in audiovisual arts (photography and sound). We would like to ask for your help in implementation of our new project/idea. We would like to create new audio album composed from the gongs sessions, eletronic music and field specific recordings from various ancient-beautiful Scotish-scottish place. To do that we will need to transport a set of gongs ( 5 gongs) from Lithuania to Callanish Island (Scotland), Orkney and other specific places to record live improvisations and natural field recordings in a stone circles with reference to the intended special setout at a time properly chosen (gongs are hand made by a team coordinator Tomas Lucinskas). We want to make something more than just music and try to capture that impressive atmosphere of ancient spirit and to release in new album " "Thought of Annihilation".
Project starts with the specific recordings collection process and finishes with the authentic music cd print.
Our visual “oratory” is my own synthesis of philosophy and photography which became an instrument helping to share insights and attitude. Photography can tell more than words so take a look to our website and meet our world outlook: http://www.theartofcontemplation.org/
