      Hey Steve,

      Just trying to get in touch. I have been trying to get in touch with you via the support address but I havnt received anything back from anybody. We spoke a few weeks after I received my first case about the audio issues that the first gen cases were having. We discussed external mics and speakers In a new version. I am glad to see I think you went that direction. What I have noticed is that there is a lot of chatter about the new version replacing the old? If this is the case please let me know. Also I would like to take this time to try to figure out somekind of timeline for clips. If you could email me back some info I would appreciate it. Also maybe a very broad idea of a timeline for the 5 cases. Tryin to make a decision about upgrades.

      I used the case a few times and got some good underwater pics. Though the touchscreen does not work underwater, I used the volume up button to snap the pics. The bad news is my locking tab broke an I am not the only one to have the issue. I want to know if I can get mine replaced

      I am nearing the end of my deployment with the SLX and well, I have certainly put this case through its paces. Unfortunately it has not held up quite as well as I would have hoped here in the rough mountains of Afghanistan. It has been dropped and smacked around and pretty well beat on.

      First the good. It did protect my phone- the whole reason for buying it. From water and sand and rocks and falls at every angle possible. My phone is scratch free and still going. The internal battery gives my phone an extra boost of power so that it lasts longer.

      Now for the less than good. The plastic screen has become a little hazy so everything is not crystal clear. The tab that holds the top closed broke after a fall on its side- was fixed and holding up decently with plastic cement. The bottom screw has come out and is back in the hole with plastic cement. The solar panel no longer takes a charge so I have to charge the battery via USB- so the case is more like one of those other power cases. There are a few cracks around one of the screws that don't look good- hasn't compromised the case but may give in. Could be due to the heat and drops. And it doesn't always charge the phone there are many occasions when it has a fully charged battery but will just not charge. It says that the accessory is not supported or will charge briefly and then stop like has been unplugged.

      All in all it hasn't performed terrible considering the amount of stress the case has been put through. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

      The case shows great promise but at the moment doesn't quite perform as well as it could. I am currently shuffling cases between the tactik and lifeproof depending on what kind of conditions I expect. The tactik takes a beating like nothing else and the lifeproof is completely waterproof. Neither offer on board power like the SLX which was a great combination of the two. Hopefully future models are improved and I can use it for the entirety if my deployment.

      I have received my case. At first the batter back up would start to charge my phone when I pressed button & asked it to. Now when using case, yes it is fully charged, I press button to ask it to charge phone & lights come on for about 5 seconds & turn off.

      Please respond & let me know what is wrong with case?

      I also have to take phone out of case to answer phone calls, as you can not hear at all while in case. Big problem & people look at me funny.

      @Peet I sometimes work in a noisy environment which makes any phone conversation difficult. I use a Bluetooth to get round this and it works well. Its also legal when driving.........The Sennheiser is by far the best as it has a noise cancelling feature that really works........also it has a volume increase feature that raises the volume as the surrounding noise increases. It is so comfortable I can wear it all day and forget you are wearing it......but dont do what I did and go in the shower with it still on!!

      I understand that you guys are probably quite busy, but it would probably be in your best interest to really look into the customer service side of your business. I received a damaged case & it took well nearly 2 months & numerous emails to get a legitimate response. Pretty ridiculous.

      Rather than using a screwdriver, try using just your thumbnail or fingernail to open and close that screw. I've done that on mine the entire time I've had it, and have even tested the waterproofness (is that a word?) and it holds up just fine. I think that if you are using a screwdriver, you may end up overtightening if you are not careful.

      I've received my case today, it was shipped on Dec 13th, it took full 3 weeks to be delivered, not bad for a 50$ shipping cost. I've tried to engage with the parceler some times in order to understand where my shipment was. It looks the shipment was like using normal post, so they weren't able to track it properly. It tooks 5 days from the US to Italy, then, probably also because of the xMas period, another 2 to go through customs and be delivered.
      I've ordered the Coyote tan and, I've to say, the color is not even close to the one on photo, is more a brownish matte plastiki something. The case is light, the plastic, at first sight, looks cheap but sturdy, the screw to lock the micro usb port cover needs to be operated with a screwdriver, impossible to use a coin different from 1 and 2 cents and nearly impossible to use hands.
      The latch securing the main phone access looks plastiki as well and not so sturdy. I hope it will not break easily if correctly operated.
      I'm charging it right now and then I'll try to keep it under water for a while to see if it is watherproof. Will eventually post other comments when fully tried.
      First feedback is, from a physical feeling point of view, not what I was expecting.

      Well I just want to tell you a story about my misadventure with this case.
      While sleeping at my parents house on December 26 (after a long night shift I didnt feel like driving home).
      I was abruptly awoke to a scream of horror. It seems the chimney in the wall of the room I was asleep in
      had caught fire. My father and I tried frantically to extinguish the flames to no avail. Long story short I grabbed my boots and got out of the house. After about two and a half hours the fire dept had it out and under control. After reentering the house I found my phone where I was asleep under insulation , parts of ceiling and on a completly soaked bed. It still functions great. Thanks

      I still have never received anything! This is getting ridiculous as I backed this project many,many months ago. Do you not care about your customers and in particular your Canadian customers?? I don't even have an iPhone 4 anymore. What's the process to get me a refund? You have made me very wary of ever backing any "crowd sourced" products ever again.
