SAVE THE TANK
Wasn't that fantastic? We've been talking about it on Facebook, tweeting about it, and emailing it to our friends all day. Hope you will, too.
Speaking of friends, Laurie Anderson pledged, and she let us know that she wants to play the TANK and record there! Laurie is the latest in a growing number of composers, sound artists, musicians, singers, artists, architects, and listeners from around the world (the latest is from Madrid, Spain) who have joined our campaign and want to experience the TANK for themselves.
In case you didn't get the chance to hear the answer to the burning question "How was the TANK found?" we've included the video of Bruce Odland's tale of abduction and two-by-fours below.
We have been asked quite a lot these past two weeks about how people can experience the TANK themselves. That's a question we're happy to answer. Once we have raised the funds and done the work that's needed to make the TANK into the resource we know it can be, we will be creating the process by which people can access the TANK, play, and record there. We hope all of you will join us in SAVING THE TANK, you'll be the first to hear about our plans.
