Roomful of Teeth at The TANK at 8 PM on June 21, 2017, in an extraordinary musical event, Roomful of Teeth will welcome the Summer Solstice at The Tank Center for the Sonic Arts in Rangely, Colorado. A 65 foot tall, 40 foot wide steel water tank from the age of steam engines, The TANK is now renowned for its swirling, shifting reverberation.

Roomful of Teeth is a unique and original group of singers, an a cappella octet, who caught the world by surprise, as the New York Times noted, when their first album earned a Grammy for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance. Roomful of Teeth will sing new compositions especially suited to The TANK's extraordinary sonic environment.

Go here for tickets. Tickets go on sale on Monday, April 10, at 8am MDT

--exclusive seating inside The TANK itself, limited to 35 seats each @ $75

--general event seating in a larger area outside with live audio feed from The TANK, where you'll hear the concert under the magnificent Colorado star field @ $15.

We hope you can join us for this and any of the other Summer Solstice events. Go to tanksounds.org for more information.

Keep listening!

      Hi Bruce,

This sounds pretty awesome but sadly its quite a haul for a lot of folks. Anybody there geeky enough to get the Solstice special broadcast on the internet? I am the Music Director at KZSU Stanford and do a radio show 6-9pm PST on wednesdays and would love to put this on the air/web for the 7-9 portion of my show (or whenever you go live - but i have to cut you off at 9pm because of another live program we do). I'd be happy to promote the even on air too (we do a 24 hour special of live noise/experimental artists every year in February, "Day of Noise" so our audience is not unfamiliar with such things). You can contact me direct at music@kzsu.stanford.edu if you like. Thanks. Bill
