£80k Stretch Goal Met! £85k Target Announcement

Today we unlocked Capitol! Big Bob Watts and his forces from the starter set are being 3D rendered as I write! We should be able to share in a couple of days.

So now we can announce that Mitch Hunter will be our £85k Stretched Goal! He is a Warzone favourite and we are really looking forward to seeing him in action very soon! (he is the fellow at the bottom of the Capitol picture below).

And finally, please see the image of the Undead Legionnaires below. The new guns and shoulder pads will now come in the starter sets and their Add-on boxes. We hope you like them (the additions for the other starters will be announced later today....

Will Capitol also get custom dice with their logo on it, and if so, what colour will those dice be?

    2. John Ward on March 20, 2013

I like the Big Bob with the Nimrod from back in Siege of the Citadel a bit more than the clunky Bob I once owned. Still, any Bob Watts is a good Bob Watts.

more Capitol units? that is just awesome!!! There is a picture of Bob Watts (with other Doomtropers) with a normal heavy machine gun fired from the hip, so who knows, but the heavy Nimrod he is having on the art above is also the icon of Big Bob

There's going to be a 5 starter set now? Mother of god...

So far i'm already in for Cyber, Legion, and Brotherhood (I love painting knight-like minis). Been able to resist getting into Bauhaus as well. But if Captiol ends up being good and we hit the 90k goal for more units...

I think I did less number crunching with my taxes than I have done with this KS.

Maybe some kind of exo-armour close to the first sketches For the Vulkan...

      But Capitol style

Talking of Big Bob... What are other peoples feelings.

I always felt the two large autocannons on this shoulders were a but over the top and would have preferred a gyromount fired from the hip (like Arnold Schwarzenegger firing the minigun in the Terminator movies). So what are peoples thoughts?

@Prodos, you mean Big Bob or another big Tank/Walker? Heh heh.

Hoping to get to Capitolian units. If only we could get Imperial as a further stretch goal, I would be in heaven. My largest concern about the kickstarter is that I need to remember to reserve a bundle for later when Capitol and Imperial troops will be available.

I know this is way down the road, but do you have distribution plans? I'm hoping to have better access than transatlantic post in later days.

yeah i am also interested in knowing if Capitol will join the rest with 3 different troop choices :) , that would be fair, tight? i am totally in for Capitol, hope they turn out as cool as the rest or better :D .

John, you can add or subsitute the Capitol in as you wish (as with the other starters this is valued at £30)
The extra hero is the £85 target and unit £90k, more to come too!
including a 5 Starter pledge very shortly

Hot Dog! Now we're talking. Now, how does CARTEL interact with the fact that five groups are unlocked? Do you just pick your favorite four? In that case, I can dump Cybertronic (sorry Cyberfans) and get... Back to the spreadsheet.

Hey, now that I think about it, will Capitol be receiving the two extra squads (to purchase) that everyone else does? Some Free Marines, Sea Lions, or even Martian Banshees (which WERE teased at one point)?

    12. Siygess on March 20, 2013

Ah-ha! But what if the take their armour off first and THEN kill them! The Dark Legion are tricksy like that :D

As cool as it is, If I'm not wrong, the background states that the highly advanced personal armors from Brotherhood troops, are equipped with a self-incineration device that activates when user's vital constants reach cero, so that the body can not be harvested by the minions of the Dark Legion. Therefore I don't dig the Brotherhood shoulder pads here. That's my personal opinion though...

    21. Burkhard on March 20, 2013

Damn you... So far I was only torn between Bauhaus and Cybertronic... Now
I have to add Darklegion to that list as well. Plus I am virtually forced to do at least a small Capitol unit. You are far too good at marketing! ;-)
