I appreciate the idea with the magnets 👍 🙂
@Carl, we will handle that like always and like any other component in the game that is not manufactured as it should be. We will gladly replace it to anyone that has an issue like this.
Will the user install the magnet? will it be possible to remove the magnet without damaging the board? If not, wrong installation (i.e., wrong side facing up) means you need to send out replacements for boards. If magnets prove to be impractical (cost and shipping-wise), maybe 3 small plastic "stacking mini cups" could be used? biggest cup would sit in a recess on the board, the other 2 has a clip that you can attach the carboard piece.
Magnets were used in Train Heist which leaves me a concern. When the magnets were placed in the board they were off centre which then made the arms off centre which in turn leaves the game looking sloppy as they rotate. How will you ensure these issues don't arise as these are bigger pieces?
wow! this makes me want magnets in every game I own where I have to put pieces on a board or cover up a blocked space or whatever! simple yet genius. thank you!
Amazing news. It's a clever idea, congratulations!
The only one if when you send the game stay in spanish, it's perfect
Thanks everyone! :)
@Cassie, thank for the heads up. That is really strange to hear as a cause for customs delays, because magnets are frequently used in games especially on boxes. But we will find out more about this and if needed, adjust the timeline that we planned in the following period.
Just be aware magnets caused delays at customs on another project
Possibly THE most innovative, practical and utterly awesome idea I've seen in board game engineering.... Well done
Yes! That's just AWESOME!
Love the magnets.
"Yeah, [expletive deleted]! Magnets!"- Jesse Pinkman Am I the first one?
That's actually a pretty great idea :) I was wondering about the situation of board folding and such. Good job :D
Project looks great guys!
Thanks everyone! We are super happy how it turned out :)
You surprise us at every turn with good news! Glad you thought about this solution.
Very cool indeed
That is awesome!!
I think you’ve ushered in a whole new era of game-board manufacturing! Why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?
