Pledge Manager invites coming soon and Pre-order available!
In the wake of the horrific events in Orlando, our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the United States. We are deeply saddened by the senseless killings that happened. Nothing is going to return the victims in the nightclub, but we wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.
We wanted to let you know on the progress of Cavern Tavern.
We will be collecting your address info through a pledge manager. We had discussion with a number of Kickstarter creators and they all agreed that that is the best way of collecting the info needed to deliver the game. Also, we wanted to accommodate some of the backers that couldn't pledge for the full game during the campaign, but backed the campaign on the lower levels, and pledge manager is the only way for everyone interested to upgrade their pledge to get the game or buy some of the add-ons.
Speaking of add-ons... here is an image of one of them.
This is a plastic dice cup in the shape of a wine barrel that will come with a foil logo.
The pledge manager is being setup as we speak and we plan to send the invites next week.
As we've mentioned in the previous update, the files for the custom dice are sent to the manufacturer and we expect to have a photo of the laser-engraved dice in the next update.
We will be moving from pre-production to production in July. By that time, our editor is going over the rules (expected to finish June 30th), dice are being manufactured and proofreading the text on the cards is on the way.
Name an Order pledge
We've sent out messages last week to our backers at the $119 level in order to gather the information needed for the name of the order cards and the name featured in the rulebook. Most of the backers have replied, but there are still a number of backers that didn't replied yet, so, please answer the questions as soon as possible so we can close the design on the Order cards and the rulebook.
We wanted to use this opportunity to share more artwork of the game. In this update, the focus is the back of the cards.
We've set up a pre-order page on IndieGogo, acutally it's a new service called InDemand which we were invited to try out.
We want to emphasize that the pre-order version is $5 higher than the KS version and won't include the Kickstarter exclusive content that you helped us unlock.
So if you know someone that didn't manage to back the game during the Kickstarter campaign, there is still time to do that for a discounted price and subsidized shipping.
Have a great week!
