Antinous will be a feature film directed by world renowned artist Mark Beard. The screenwriter took a somewhat modern approach to the ancient story, giving it a similar vibe to what Baz Luhrmann did to Romeo + Juliet in the 90's. The film focuses on Antinous' point of view.
For Antinous, the screenwriter was inspired by the pressures of being a young man, and his struggles with having an absent father growing up. His goal was to bring more awareness to this subject in the hopes that it will inspire young men to stay strong.

Beard is inspired by Tom Ford, who is living proof that an artist can successfully crossover into feature films.

Yes, there will be risks and challenges, but we will overcome them. Anyone who is involved in an independent film (including you) knows in their heart that it is in fact a passion project. We don't show up to set everyday because of a paycheck. We're there because we love movies... and sometimes making a movie takes patience and flexibility. Here are some examples of the obstacles that could arise:
SHOOTING SCHEDULE: The actors that we have in mind could currently be filming other movies or television shows so it will be important to cater to their schedule needs.
COMPLETION: Due to unknown factors ahead, the timeline for completion is still to be determined. But we will be able to complete this film because of you.
