One World, Two Games, Three Unique Experiences
Drawn by Clouds proudly presents two complete games, a digital RPG (iOs & Android) and a cooperative tabletop card game. Each can be played individually, or they can be combined for a third, completely unique experience.
Explore. Program. Survive.

Fall Schematic is a seamless techpunk game spanning both physical and digital media. Because of the unique nature of the world, the stories in Fall Schematic are told across two mediums: a free-to-pay-what-you-want mobile RPG representing the abstract digital world within Autumn Network and a physical cooperative card game mirroring the ruined physical surface of the planet surrounding it.
Both games are independent experiences, but they interact in creative ways when enjoyed together. Humanity's days are numbered if the Glitch is not stopped on both fronts.
Fall Schematic takes place in a techno-magical world where humans have abandoned their bodies and exist only as digital beings. The surface of the planet is an overgrown ruin heaped with the dormant technologies of an ancient era, and organic life has dwindled to little more than rudimentary plants and insects. Machines known as “Frames” traverse the planet and are piloted by digital people to move between vast digital cities known as Networks. Both physical and digital realities are being consumed by a poorly understood entity known as the Glitch.

A Console Quality Experience - Optimized for Mobile
The Fall Schematic digital RPG is a free-to-pay-what-you-want Roleplaying Game for iOs and Android (and potentially more). It is a deep, tactical, and narrative-driven experience.

Long ago when humans became fully digital beings, they built giant computational structures called Networks in which to live. Fall Schematic RPG takes place in one such structure, Autumn Network. Communication with the other Networks has been lost, and Autumn Network is under siege by the mysterious entity known as the Glitch. You will be injected into a world forged by imagination, and fraught with peril, joining a global struggle to keep digital space from falling to corruption.

Key Features
• TACTICS: Recruit SubRoutines, Assemble them into Programs
You have powerful tools at your disposal for conducting battle in Fall Schematic. Your first consideration is your SubRoutines (SRs): digital units that each have unique offensive and defensive capabilities. It's up to you to assemble a host of parties (Programs) that can handle anything the glitch throws at you. Understanding how SRs interact with one another is key to your survival.

• EXPLORATION: Explore a World Built on the Imaginations of its Inhabitants
The world of Fall Schematic is vast, and the Glitch is assaulting it in a myriad of devious and unpredictable ways. You will explore stunning and imaginative lands in various states of corruption as you work to expel the Glitch incursion.

• GEAR: Clothing, Food, and Patches
Style dominates in the Autumn Network, where imagination is the primary boundary on appearance. Find clothing for your character and patches to apply to your SubRoutines from eight core brands, including Benobasa's Fist, Infinite Divine, Feralesque, and more. Each brand has weaknesses and style bonuses tied to it. Your SRs gain power from your character's statistics during combat, so make sure you and your SRs are both dressed to save the world.

• DUNGEONS: Emergent Dungeons, Evolving Narratives
Whenever a Glitch personality manifests in digital space, it corrodes the area around it, forming a Glitch dungeon. Glitch dungeons take many shapes, from ghostly scrap yards to corrupted opera houses putting on twisted Glitch plays. Each hosts its own unique story, gear, and SubRoutines for you to contend with. Depending on how well Fall Schematic players worldwide are suppressing a particular Glitch personality over time, different Glitch dungeons will come in and out of existence. Repressed Glitches have a habit of coming back later, bigger and badder than ever. New Glitches are spawning all the time.

• FREE-TO-PAY-WHAT-YOU-WANT
What? Yes, we are trying a brand new monetization model for this game. Quite frankly, we loathe the predatory tactics of many freemium games in the mobile space right now, and we don't want to be a part of that crowd. We will release cool, limited edition items into our game, and all of them will sell like a certain humblest of bundles that we all adore.
You choose how many Drops of Sunlight (our in-game currency) you pay us for purchases in this game, and we will throw in something special for those who pay above the average. We are going to offer in-game product that makes you want to help us keep making this game. That's it! We are artists relying on your patronage. It's our job to impress you.
The digital items we have crafted for this Kickstarter are just for our pledgers and will not be available again.

Game Overview
In partnership with Wyrd Miniatures, we present the Fall Schematic Cooperative Card Game!

Fall Schematic: The Cooperative Card Game is set in a world where virtual identities pilot unique, mechanized constructs, called “frames,” across a physical world.
Certain legendary frames are equipped with powerful relics left behind by more advanced civilizations. These relics allow the frames to energize and deploy dormant lesser constructs, called “rigs,” to fields of battle. In this time of conflict, frames command rigs directly from the front lines in an ever-growing struggle with the ominous threat commonly referred to a as, “the Glitch.”
Fall Schematic: The Cooperative Card Game can be played with one to four players. A Starter Kit contains enough contents for one person to enjoy a quick single player encounter. By combining multiple Starter Kits, a group of players can engage in a longer, more challenging experience. During the game, a player controls a single frame equipped with the ability to deploy rigs, attach mods, and resolve various other effects.
The Glitch is an automated enemy that does not require any player to play as it. Cards in the Glitch’s deck will enter play automatically due to various instances until either the players win or the Glitch wins.
Object of the Game
The objective in Fall Schematic: The Cooperative Card Game is to help the factions clear all remains of Glitch corruption from an infested area. The Glitch's deck represents both the enemy force, and the overall amount of corruption in a targeted area. When there are no cards in the glitch deck and the table is clear of glitch rigs the players win. The Glitch defeats the players when every Frame in play is destroyed.

The below video features prototype cards with stand-in art for the purpose of demonstrating play. All final artwork will be to the standard seen in the card stills above and below.

This is your chance to own a high quality 8-inch tall, fully painted resin Colette figure. Manufactured by Kotobukiya, the quality will be immaculate. Unlock this add-on by reaching her stretch goal! (Note this is also the artwork being used for the 32mm scale miniature available in the Complete Interface and Just The Minis levels.)

Additional Add-ons to be announced.

In both games, you will be joining one of four factions that rule Autumn Network.
Monarchy of Boom
Bound by individualism and dripping with style, the Monarchy of Boom is all about big attitude. Barely qualifying its namesake, the Monarchy is a happenstance assembly of like-minded individuals with an informally acknowledged King and Queen.
Everyone in the Monarchy walks to their own beat and follows their own destiny, and they stand united purely upon that shared understanding. Members of the Monarchy believe the Glitch can just be smashed out of existence. It has worked so far.

Celestial Shogunate
The Celestial Shogunate is Autumn Network’s oldest faction and spans a region that evokes a technology-driven feudal Japan. The Shogunate’s founder, Cherry-Snow, is revered as having been the Network’s greatest historian. She devoted her long life to cataloguing and recording knowledge about pre-digital humans and their technology. The Shogunate believes the Glitch will inevitably consume the entire world and is researching the means for a mass exodus to the stars.

Hana Mori
The Hana Mori are a young faction founded upon an old sentiment: humans made an incomprehensible mistake when they became inorganic. Now that the world is literally being eaten by Glitch, they feel the only way to save humanity is to find a path back to return humans to their bodies and regrow a lush, organic world. The Hana Mori are the shamans of Autumn Network.

SubNet 88
Secretive and loosely affiliated, members of SubNet would prefer to dispense with the physical realm altogether if they could, viewing physical space as unclean and impure. The members of SubNet are digital elitists and view intelligent abstraction as the only true perfection. SubNet has no official territory and has far fewer members than the other three prominent factions, but it is every bit as powerful and potentially more dangerous. SubNet members know how to manipulate Network code in ways the other factions assume to be impossible.

First of all, if you have decided to back our campaign, THANK YOU. You have become part of this project which is our passion. We will be working endlessly to provide to you the highest quality rewards for your faith in us. But we wanted to provide just a little more information about where your contribution will be going...in a informative, but sadly non-edible, pie.

That's all folks! Nothing left but to get back to work...taking over the world...

Risks and challenges
We've built a highly competent and experienced team, used to deadlines and production schedules. Several of us are veterans from successfully funded KickStarter projects with other teams in the past, so we know how to protect this project from setbacks.
As such, our primary challenge is budgetary.
We have a powerful vision of the Fall Schematic universe, and we believe this can be one of the most fascinating and engaging settings expressed in both mediums. This is a world we want to explore and create for years to come. We've built the core for two wonderful games, but our ability to expand upon those visions will be depending on the success of this Kickstarter.
We knew that our own personal savings and investment as a team would not be able to take these games as far as they deserve to go. We have planned to open this game opportunity to the KickStarter community when we'd put together a package to show our potential with the funds we had. We've come this far stretching every penny and will continue to do so with your pledges. How much (or if) you contribute will determine how richly we can build out the worlds we are inviting you to play in. We have an ultimate vision, and we need your pledges to make it reality.
