The Lyric Cinema is at risk closing down unless we can upgrade to digital projection equipment now necessary in the movie industry.
2,324 backers pledged $158,692 to help bring this project to life.

Shirts shirts shirts!

As the survey's have been rolling out people have had some questions in regards to the shirts. First, here is the design:

That is just the design on gray. There are other different color options available for men's and women's sizes though. If you'd like to see the shirts we're having the design printed on, here are the men's which are available in Espresso, Antique Denim, and Charcoal, and the women's and women's v-neck which are available in Tahiti Blue, Dark Gray, Kiwi.

Oh, one more thing, you have to answer all of the questions in the surveys or they won't send. So, if you're getting a women's shirt, under the men's color selection select "I'm getting a Women's shirt!" and vice-versa. If you're in the $15 category, there was a tiny mishap with this, but you all got e-mails regarding that already!

I hope that all helps, and thanks again for supporting the Lyric!

-Michael

      I LOVE this t-shirt design!!!

    2. Creator Blake on September 7, 2012

When will the shirts be ready for pick-up?

    3. Creator Kim Graves on September 4, 2012

love the t-shirt design! It's super cute and I think it represents the Lyric well. Can't wait to see hundreds of people wearing them around town!

    4. Creator Craig Macon on September 1, 2012

Not to be disrespectful but the t-shirt design looks more appropriate for the Thank You card, rather than a design to be worn on a T-shirt. While many may find it pleasant, I don't think it is something I would wear. I think a more "vanilla" but mass appealing design might simply be the The Lyric logo on the red box used in the opening of the Kickstarter video, on an organic cotton tee.

I say this from experience as someone who drew a crew T-shirt in film school as requested by the Producer. On the front was a cherub holding a banner with the film name. On the back was the back of the cherub, wings and naked butt. The producer thought it was great. The crew thought it was great...as long as they were on set. When the shirt leaves context and you are a grown man pumping gas with a butt naked angel on your back, well, not cool.

The design as is, is fun and frivelous, and light hearted. Nothing wrong with it, except it isn't something I as a middle aged man would wear. It doesn't appeal to conservative tastes.

At the very leastI would like the option to substitute the regular Lyric T that has the projector diagram on it, rather than receive one of the special run T's.

Just want to let you know that I haven't gotten a survey yet either. Thanks, Holly

    6. Creator Jennie Mae on August 30, 2012

Seriously, Jess? The designer of this shirt worked very hard on it, and everyone else LOVES it. Nobody else has been anything but positive about it. Your comment is unnecessary and rude.

    7. Creator Caroline Francklyn on August 30, 2012

      I didn't get an email about a mishap. I donated $20 and there wasn't anything about a t-shirt on the survey. I would like a t-shirt. Thanks!

    8. Creator Anastacia Melissa Galloway on August 30, 2012

I haven't gotten a survey yet, but my boyfriend has. I just want to make sure that mine is on it's way and not lost in the abyss of cyberspace...

      Survey Says!!

This design looks like it is targeted at either the birthing mom or the Depends crowd. Are the majority of the 2000 folks providing the larger donations in either of those groups? I know I am not. Do you have a bit more generic design?

    10. Creator Ann Donoghue on August 29, 2012

Should I have gotten a survey? Haven't. Therefore, can't put in what size shirt! Please let us know the schedule for the survey. Thanks!

    11. Creator Brie on August 29, 2012

I too haven't received a survey or how to ask for a certain size. Cute t-shirt design though!

    12. Creator Sandra Selders on August 29, 2012

You might consider an option to waive the right to any and all part of the kickback, such as the hand-written thank you note, etc. Many of us may not require a reward.

    13. Creator Michael Putlack on August 29, 2012

Barb, each membership is good for one year and with it you get $4 tickets and a dollar off glasses of beer and wine. You'll also have the option for one two-year membership.

    14. Creator Sue Pendell on August 29, 2012

I didn't ask for a t-shirt because I wanted all my donation to go to the project. Can I buy a t-shirt?

    15. Creator Dennis Sovick on August 29, 2012

      Survey???

    16. Creator Julie Thomas (deleted) on August 29, 2012

Thanks for clarifying that, Michael. Appreciate it! I'll watch for my survey. :)

    17. Creator Michael Putlack on August 29, 2012

I have to retype each survey for each pledge level which is more complicated and labor intensive than it should be. So, they are being rolled out over the course of the week.

    18. Creator Barbara Schneider on August 29, 2012

What exactly does the 2 memberships to Lyric entitle us to? Also, haven't seen the survey, I don't think. Barb

    19. Creator Elizabeth on August 29, 2012

      Also haven't gotten a survey!

    20. Creator Heather Green on August 29, 2012

Is there a way to know if my survey responses went through? Nothing really happened after I finished . Thx!

    21. Creator Rachel Storer on August 29, 2012

Hi! Do you know where there might be a sizing chart for the shirts? I can't seem to find one on this website!

    22. Creator Doug Bermingham on August 29, 2012

Hey Michael - you make mention of surveys, yet I haven't received one yet. Have they gone out? - Doug Bermingham

    23. Creator Blair Greenwood on August 29, 2012

I haven't received a survey. Are they being rolled out to certain backers during a certain time period?
