So we've hit that mid-project lull. But I have just the things to get us out of it: A preview chapter and some great stretch goals.
Please keep spreading the word about The Banished Craft. It's going to be fun, and your support makes me a happy author! Also, remember while hitting our base goal means the project is a "go" (thank you!!) I'm going to need more than that for improved editing. So please keep spreading the word - every pledge helps and is greatly appreciated.
About the chapter: It makes me nervous to release this, honestly. But my husband loves the story so far, as is insistent that if I release this sample, you'll love it too. So fingers crossed! If you like it, pass it along - let people know. And if you do have feedback, please send it along to email@example.com. We'd appreciate your thoughts.
About the stretch goals: At $4000, we will hire local illustrator Kyle Walblay to create a set of Chapter Title illustrations. If we get enough pre-orders, we can make this happen!
In other news: I am working really hard to finish the first draft prior to the conclusion of this Kickstarter project. Your continued pre-orders push me even harder - thank you! Also, because we met our base goal (yay!), Anna Rettberg has started to work on the cover for The Banished Craft. Hopefully we can get a cover reveal to you before the project is over. Which I think would be awesome!
Thanks again for your support - I am so grateful.
