(Chronicles of the Dead - "Apocalypse")
(Chronicles of the Dead - "Apocalypse Part 2")
We've just released our first two full length episodes, "Apocalypse" & "Apocalypse Part 2", and now we need to get moving on future productions! We've funded everything on our own, without any financing or studio influence and now we need your help. If you are a zombie fan, you will love our web series. You'll even see our nods to, "Night of the Living Dead", "Zombie Survival Guide" and many other classic examples of zombie film and literature all the while, keeping it our very own. With your help, we will provide you with more great episodes. We want you to feast your eyes on some scary zombie action.
"Chronicles of the Dead - Apocalypse" shows what we can do with 600 bucks. "Chronicles of the Dead - Apocalypse Part 2" shows what we can do with 1,000 bucks. To continue to raise the bar in the zombie genre, more guts, more zombies, more scares, more gore, we need an increase in funding to pay our hardworking crew and step up the level of production each time.
Your contributions will be powering our filmmaking efforts to make a Zombie series by Zombie fans for Zombie fans.
3N Films has been working together for the last five years producing short films, music videos, commercials, promos, and web content. We love what we do, we work hard, and we believe that our work shows just that. As independent filmmakers we work on very low budgets, which is an art in itself, and we've pretty much mastered it. What we've done with these shoe string budgets is pretty impressive. We've built positive business relationships over the years, most recently signing with Collective Digital Studio, the firm whose clients include FreddieW, Annoying Orange, iJustine, and Fred. We're excited to be working under their guidance and they're really challenging us to produce as much high quality entertainment for you horror fans as we possibly can.
Please take a look at the links to our material as well as our perks, we have some original zombie inspired artwork to offer as well as great Chronicles of the Dead swag to show of your support of the zombie masses. Thank you for reading. Stay undead!
Risks and challenges
We put the entirety of our available time, energy, and finances into our projects and when something goes wrong we all feel the hit personally. Operating without insurance means that when equipment gets damaged or broken we have nothing to fall back on. That means continuing through the shoot (and possibly the next) going without the equipment, being forced to creatively make up for what's missing. When nights get long, the work gets harder, and the crew gets tired. We have to keep everyone happy, well fed, and energized and unfortunately that doesn't come free. Sometimes the zombie horde can grow more gruesome and flesh hungry than was expected. We can't allow our make-up staff to pull from their own wallets when effects and supplies run low. We need to be ready to outfit a full fledged undead army at any time, dripping with blood and guts or else we have no zombies and therefore, no zombie web series. As low budget filmmakers, every production carries the weight of hefty risks and challenges. With funding, those risks and challenges will still exist of course, but will not effect the integrity of the shoot.
