What is Bundle?
Bundle is a personalized game company that brings people closer together. Make your way around the board answering questions, completing challenges, reliving memories, and creating new ones. The first person to make a trip around the board and complete the Final Bundle card wins the game.

The possibilities are endless!
Games were a huge part of life growing up in the Collier household. Our dad would give us poker tips (he used to get paid to play for the house in a local bar), and our mom created sibling bonding games where we had to compliment each other to receive a prize. This love of games only intensified as we got older and we bet on horse races, escaped rooms, and insisted that our freshman dorm bonding activities were several rounds of Catch Phrase followed up by any board game we could get our hands on.
Recently we were looking for a gift for our parents that felt like us, something personal that really captured our family dynamics and inside jokes, but we were having trouble finding anything in stores or online. We decided to channel our love of game playing into creating our very own board game, and Bundle was born! Except it wasn't called Bundle yet, we dubbed it Mom-opoly and Dad-opoly. We promise you the questions were more original than the titles.
We had the best time playing the games. Our mom loved the sentimental cards because our brother Shawn was forced to say something he appreciated about his two sisters. Our dad, a natural born storyteller with an incredible memory, seemed to have the most affinity for the challenges where he could pull out his Rolodex of family knowledge that the rest of us have seemingly forgotten. Shawn, always the fierce competitor, loved basking in the glow of his win. What was this sister duo's favorite element of the game? We loved it all, and we couldn't stop.
The Idea Grows
We continued to create games for events with family and friends. At a 4th of July party last year a friend suggested that we should think about turning our board game hobby into a board game business. Both of us have always thought about starting our own companies. (Cassie originally wanted to open a specialty supermarket and Jacklyn had aspirations of running a matchmaking service.) We decided that we couldn't think of anyone else we would rather work with or anything else we would rather do. (Sharing a room and a closet full of clothes growing up has made us pretty adept at conflict resolution with each other.)
In late September, we did a soft launch and sold the game to family and friends, using this time to play test, receive feedback, and make adjustments to our game. During this time, we found old board games from Goodwill stores and covered them with construction paper. These games were very homemade, and our craft skills really left a lot to be desired:
Yet during this period, we began getting great feedback from our customers. We hosted Bundle parties at board game cafes and partnered with companies for a couples board game night. The one constant theme was the game was allowing people to connect with those around them. In order to keep up with the demand, we knew we would have to actually manufacture our games. We ordered a small run of games and sold those:
Why We're Doing a Kickstarter
We subscribe to the Sara Blakely philosophy: Start small. Think big. Scale fast. We want to take Bundle to the next level and we need your help to do it. There are three main reasons we have chosen to do a Kickstarter campaign.
1.) We want to do a larger run of our game so that we can get the cost per unit down.
2.) We want to develop software that helps us to personalize games. Right now, we custom-write all the questions based on the responses we get back from our customers. But in order to make Bundle more scalable, we want to create a platform that makes it easy for us to personalize games and doesn't require so much woman power on our part.
3.) We want to bring Bundle fun to as many people as possible! At Toy Fair this year, many inventors encouraged us to do Kickstarter to raise awareness and sales for our game. (Even $1 is a meaningful pledge because it means you'll get added to our Bundle Newsletter.)
We have had a great time bringing Bundle to the people we love. Now we are ready to bring Bundle to the world!
What Our First Customers Are Saying
"We received the Bundle two days ago. My kids and I absolutely loved it. They said best game ever and asked to play it 2 days in a row." - Julia B., North Carolina, CEO of Bennett Aerospace
"The Bachelorette Bundle that I played was before my wedding, and I found the experience funny, insightful, and it made me feel quite special to have a board game all about getting to know my (now) husband and me as a couple. I know so many brides leave showers or engagement parties wishing their friends and family knew their spouse or relationship better, and this is a great way to feature the couple, and the bride in a meaningful way." Nicole D., New York, Publicist
"I got a Bundle for my mom's birthday and my entire family played for several hours. Not only was the game so much fun, but the questions also made us reflect on our memories together." - Isaac L., New York, Lawyer
"My family got a Bundle for Christmas and played it that night. It was truly better than any game off the shelf." - Gary L., Connecticut, U.S. Patent Examiner
"Playing Bachelorette Bundle was an evening of so many memories and laughs. It was such a fun bonding experience with friends I've known forever - and playing the game also created new friendships with girls I just met." - Amanda E., New York, Software Engineer at BounceX
"Our Bundle brought lots of fun, laughter, and smiles. It's great to have a game that brings memories back to life!" Stephanie F., Pennsylvania, Human Resources Generalist at Geisinger Health
"I got a Personalized Bundle for my girlfriend for our anniversary and it really brought us closer together. As an avid board game player, this is by far the best 2-person game I've played." Jeff K., New York, Attorney
Risks and challenges
We are keeping the same manufacturer as we had for our small prototype run in January, given we have been very pleased with the quality and timeliness of their work. We have been in close communication with this manufacturer to adjust the way we package our game and to let them know we will ordering a much larger quantity for our next shipment. Additionally, we have carefully set our Kickstarter delivery times to be consistent with the timeline of the manufacturer. With that said, we understand there are always inevitable challenges that come with the producing and shipping of board games. We will be diligent and communicative with both the manufacturer and our backers throughout the process if we sense delays.
