I figure anyone with 50 years of experience doing anything is worth listening to. My name is Gregory Gast and I'm a producer-editor. I've honed my skills as a documentarian during my years creating mini-biographies for the TV Academy Hall of Fame (Emmys), the Set Decorators Society of America, the US Air Force and others. My passion for Hollywood history and my interest in the story-behind-the-story led me to create 50/50 HOLLYWOOD. It's a documentary series that sets out to showcase the lives of 50 artists who've been working in Hollywood for over 50 years. Famous or not, these people have made significant contributions to their industry, and learned a lot about life. This project gives them a chance to talk about their creativity, their humanity, and their journeys.

Quinn Monahan: Director, Producer, Editor
Quinn has been creating content for broadcast television for over a decade, from the Oscars, to the SAG Awards, to the Miss America Pageant, and more. Born and raised in Los Angeles into a showbiz family, and having worked in all areas of the business, storytelling is practically in his DNA.
Emily Hardy: Producer
Emily can do just about anything. An actor-writer by trade, she got into producing because she can't help rolling up her sleeves to get things done. Whether she's working directly with our interviewees, or creating and supporting behind the scenes, Emily has made herself indispensable.

Risks and challenges
This documentary series is challenging for a couple of reasons. First, we are losing more veterans of the business every year, so we need to act swiftly. Second, we are a small team right now, and the finances needed to create 50 short-form documentaries are formidable. However, the quality of the show we're creating will attract investors as soon as we have a couple episodes finished as demos. We are all highly skilled in this kind of work, and each has a heart for the subject matter. We are confident that with some production funds we can keep moving forward.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
