70 Percent And Counting!

Welcome back, fans!  The Kickstarter is still making great progress and we are not even one-third of the way through.  We are at $183 out of $250.  That's about 73% funding!

Let's look at more pages from Sunnyville #15, one of the stories inside of the Super Special #2.

If you remember the last two Sunnyville pages, Rusty is over at Sam's house.  He has a good reason to be there.  Down in Sam's basement, Rusty's mother Nancy is with Sam's mother Crystal.  They are doing their laundry.

The bottom panel on this page is a continuity nod.  Way back in Sunnyville #1, Rusty actually commented on the bad condition of his new house in Sunnyville; he said it looked like the Addams Family had lived there.

That subplot about the washer and dryer will figure in to the story.  But here is the real plot point - Rusty has learned that auditions are being held for Riddles of the Sphinx and he wants to go participate.

Before I get back to my comics work, I have one more thing to share.  It's the cover for the Sunnyville Super Special under construction.

Next weekend, I will unveil the cover art plus some blog posts about how I came up with this cover.

In the meantime, please tell others about this Kickstarter and get them to pledge.  Remember that the Sunnyville Super Special #2 will NOT be a reality unless we make the 100% goal.  Until next time, fans!
