Receiving Your Copy of JoyceWays (Just in Time for Bloomsday!)

Hello All!

As I'm sure most of you have noticed, JoyceWays hit the App Store early this morning!  We, who with the most optimistic predictions were hoping for Apple's approval and launch on Bloomsday, were just as surprised as you are to see JoyceWays waiting in the App Store this morning.  Needless to say, now that things have settled a bit, it's time to get this wonderful project into your pockets.  Apple has given us a limited number of free download codes (which are presently being distributed), but we'll make sure that our lovely backers receive their due copy.

All we ask is that you message us the email address associated with your iTunes account. Once we receive this, we will gift you JoyceWays as soon as possible.  Get your email address in and we'll do our best to get JoyceWays in your pocket by Bloomsday!

And, once you've played with it a bit, we'd love it if you left us a nice review in the App Store!

Cheers, all, and thanks again for all of your fantastic support!

The JoyceWays Team

I had the same concerns about how to get my iTunes account email sent. Look at the top of this update, under the JoyceWays bold title, there is a blue "send message" link. Click on this link and a message box will open. I agree that putting your email in the comments section is never a good idea. Just sent my message and hope to hear back soon.

Same as earlier question - how do I 'message' my iTunes email address to receive the JoyceWalk app I was promised for my pledge? The email message I received was non-replyable.

      thanks.. john

Hello Jean. I logged in to Kickstarter, came to this page, and found a message for me by clicking the inbox (envelope icon near the top right of this web page). Is there a message for you there? I did *not* give my email address here or elsewhere. Hope this helps.

      Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!!!!!!!
      Thank you all.

Where are we supposed to message our email addresses?

    6. Creator GMark Cole on June 15, 2012

Ok. Got it. Envelope on top toolbar. Thanks again!

I bought the app first thing this AM and it is fun. i'd love tho send the free one to my son, this would be my only investment success since the Bush Recesssion

I misspoke (well, mis-typed) ; I think the notice was on the inbox (the envelope-thing in the top right), *not* the globe. When I clicked the inbox, I saw a message that started: "Hi Raja! Here we are! At long last! The promotional code is right here: " and continued with instructions on how to use it.

I've downloaded the app and it's fun to play with. Please note that it's a big app (about 252 megabytes it says) so you probably need to use WiFi to download it, and it may take several minutes.

Pardon me for jumping in; I'd suggest not posting anything (like your email addresses) here until we get clarification.

When I came here, I got a notice on the activity menu (the globe-thing in the upper right of this web page) saying there was something for me. It turned out to be an app code; I'm going to try downloading the app on my iPhone soon.

Where may I message you the address?

    11. Creator Rob West on June 15, 2012

In a word: Wonderful. This app is beautiful, and a joy to use. Very well done. Thank you!

One slight hitch: the code sent worked great, but for some reason, I'm unable to submit a review on the app store. As soon as that clears up, I'll be submitting glowing praise.

Now, if I could just afford a ticket to Dear Dirty Dublin.

Is this place not a bit open for email addresses?

Is this the place to send you my email address to enable me to get the app from iTunes?

Like Rick, I would rather wait for it be available for my android. Supporting the project was the important thing.

      If so-- rmwrite@comcast.net
If not, just give me a sign.
      Congrats again.

Thanks very much for the offer of the app on iTunes. However, being an Android owner (of course I knew when I supported the project) I am wondering if the app for my device will be along soon. I don't want to spoil my chances of getting the app. No worries if it will be a while.

      Thanks,

      Rick Fournier
