"We'll see things today we don’t want to see, but listen up, we'll do it together. We'll be together, and we'll all come back together."
After the death of their mother, three orphaned brothers, Deter, Gunner, and Hans, were raised by their Nana to become the greatest Swedish hand-clapping disco band that ever lived. With the rise to fame came jealousy and addiction, fueling the rivalry between the two leading brothers. This rivalry lead to the untimely death of Hans, the brother that held the group together, in a tragic hand-clapping accident onstage during their last performance. After that night, the band was broken, and their lives were shattered.
After a fall from grace, one brother's whirlwind addiction stripped him of everything, while the other brother worked to rebuild what was left of his broken existence.
What is this story really about?
This story is about hope. About overcoming addictions, being able to forgive...and most of all, love. You may think that outwardly this film is a comedy, but at its core, it is a heart-felt tragedy. Quick jokes are nothing without the truth and honesty of a beautiful story told through the magic of cinema.
Where will your donations go?
With an original music score, breathtaking special effects, and dance sequences like you've never seen before, your help will fund the most amazing onstage concert performance in history! This is in addition to elaborate costume design, studio time for a giant green screen, set design and art direction for the recreation of old world Sweden, location fees, and much much more. Music is a major theme for this film, so funding the soundtrack will be key to its success. This will include of course epic disco sequences, but also cinematic overtures accompanying the brothers' journey from beginning to end. Overtures reminiscent of those great composers of the past, fused with traditional Swedish folk classics.
So, from the bottom of hearts we thank you. And, please...
