Frequently Asked Questions
The Fourth place is a small business (just me for now) with a mission to create spaces where geeks feel at home and everyone is welcome to play with our cool toys.
The main focus is helping people throw great board game nights, with the (Game Night Ready)™ line of upgraded tabletop games and libraries-- but we take every opportunity to create a sense of community and inclusivity around geek hobbies.Last updated:
I did-- Ian Struckhoff, founder of The Fourth Place. It's all a one-man show at the moment, so I do everything from design, to marketing, to the mailroom. That also means that if you have any questions, I'm here to answer directly!Last updated:
To make sure the stickers come in at a reasonable cost for backers, I'm focusing on sheets with all of the designs. Individual die-cut stickers in multiple designs become much more expensive.
Some rewards come with an extra sticker, and those will be individual stickers. If we blow through our stretch goals, individual stickers as rewards may be a possibility.Last updated:
A backer caught a mistake with the delivery dates, that I didn't notice before launching.
The enamel pins are expected to be ready to be delivered in July 2019, if all goes well-- even if all doesn't go perfectly. Sticker sheets, individual stickers, magnets, and t-shirts will be ready to deliver by May. All rewards will ship when everything is ready, unless something is delayed beyond these dates-- so rewards with pins in them will probably ship in July.
If you have any questions or concerns, please ask. I apologize for the mistake!Last updated:

If you want to pledge for a pin, sticker sheet, or combo package, that helps a lot of course, but it isn't the only way.
Following and sharing the campaign itself, maybe once a day, does a lot to help reach the goal. Kickstarter does a little to spread the word, but that's mostly up to me, and to fans of the project.
Likewise, it helps a ton to follow us on social media, and interact a lot with posts about the campaign (and other posts you like)-- Most social media networks decide how many people see a post based on how much interaction there is. Comments, shares, likes, etc. all go a long way.

No! The Giveaway is an opportunity to win some bonus rewards, in exchange for helping spread the word. None of the Kickstarter rewards require you to enter the giveaway. That said, joining the Giveaway is probably the best free way to help ensure those sweet stretch rewards get unlocked!Last updated:
Also no! The best prize options in the Giveaway will let you upgrade your Kickstarter pledge, but there are multiple options for people who don't. That said, you can earn bonus entries by pledging to the Kickstarter, so it's worth doing both.Last updated:
This reward is for two pins of any one design-- The same design. Ordering more of the same designs helps keep the costs down, and some people want duplicates. If you want two different designs, choose another option.Last updated:
