Continuing from the Gothic inspired artwork of Italy comes Tenebre, Acqua & Verde Edition. Both decks will follow Rosso's lead and be printed by The Legends Playing Card Company. With less than 1,000 decks, of each edition, being available on kickstarter, Tenebre will continue to be a highly sought after deck.
"We are excited to print TENEBRE v.2, the sequel to the extremely popular TENEBRE ROSSO. We are printing on the same Diamond Finish card stock, which is extremely long lasting, stiff, and springy. Closely resembling the legendary Jerry's Nugget decks, our Diamond Finish lasts five times longer than standard brands, and our specialty cutting process yields ultra smooth edges that faro perfectly right out of the box. As with TENEBRE ROSSO, the combination of full bleed artwork yields gorgeous fans, with our paper stock resisting chipping, so you don't get those white spotted edges after handling your cards.
You can find out more about our acute attention to detail, and revolutionary advancements in playing card printing and packaging on our official website. Please follow us on Instagram @legendsplayingcardco or Facebook to stay in touch with all the latest updates. Thank you for supporting the campaign and enjoy your decks!"

Since only 1,111 are being printed of each deck, Tenebre will not be available to wholesale. Therefore, the only means to currently get Tenebre will be through us and the LPCC official website, who would only carry 111 decks. Yes, that's why the run is a weird number. Realistically, approx. 900 will be available through kickstarter. Now this doesn't prevent backers from selling their decks online. We had issues with Rosso because some backers didn't understand that people do indeed buy as many as they can, with multiple accounts we're unaware of just to sell them. They are your decks and we can't stop you from doing what you will with them. With that in mind, these are a one time printing so with the exception of our private reserve, If they sell out on this campaign, they would be sold out altogether. Both The Grid and Grid 2.0 sold out within a year of their release, and they both had runs of 5,000 decks of each.
Risks and challenges
Yes, we know, we agree, it sucks! However, if we were to cut down the shipping costs, we would jeopardize the delivery of the decks. I'm sure plenty of backers may have experienced this already and are undergoing such situations. We have never failed to deliver on a project, and we can't risk going into the red because people are angry about the shipping costs. We did however add on Canada rates to help our Canadian brothers and sisters save on their shipping. We thank you all for your understanding!
Any project on Kickstarter will bare the risks of the costs for the manufacturing of their products and shipping. We have plenty of experience with manufacturing and delivering our products on schedule. Even though our deliver dates are in place, we have a tendency to deliver months ahead of schedule. However, this isn't a guarantee, sometimes there can be unforeseen production dilemmas but we are dedicated to work them out efficiently. LPCC is an overseas manufacturer, so production may be handled differently and timing is subjective.
