About this project
Have your dreams given up on you?
Maybe. Maybe not.
"Wayside Wonder Days," is a funny, yet honest script that has come from my sometimes-wacky mind and almost-always-happy heart.
Much like last year's award-winning film, "Homecoming," this story is based on the experiences and observations that have been my journey in life thus far. Like Zack Slater, the main character in the film, I have had dreams of greatness that have not come true in the way I had hoped. I have witnessed others whose dreams also seemed elusive.
I believe very strongly that this script speaks to all of us - from the dreamer who has become a doubter to the uninspired who has yet to believe.
The budget needed to fully realize this film is $150,000. The film will be shot entirely in my home state of Ohio. The many talented people who helped propel "Homecoming" to film festivals around the country are coming back again.
Please visit our official site: Wayside Wonder Days Movie for more details on the project.

Zack's story is tragic, but funny as hell. Imagine a week of your life where everything near and dear to you was taken away: relationship, mentor, job and home. Okay, now imagine that your only option is to move back to your hometown - and in with your parents. Not only that, but you have to go back to work for your sister at the family business - a bowling alley. Wait, there's more. Your family guilt trips you into going 'Putt-Putting' (and you hate, absolutely hate, Putt-Putt!) This is the opening act of "Wayside Wonder Days."
There's much more and we are ready, willing and able to make it all happen. If you want to know what how it all turns out in the end, then please help us reach our goal.
Please, take a look at our perks. There are some really great ones and I hope something catches your eye. No amount is too small (or too large!)
Thanks again for the continued support and belief in "Wayside Wonder Days."

Risks and challenges
As with any motion picture, we are subject to challenges from weather, cast and crew illness, plagues and acts of God.
In the event that I am unable to complete the film due to unforeseen circumstances - which I find highly unlikely - I will search for alternate financing/producing partners to help facilitate the completion.
In the event that the film is delayed, perks will be made available from one to six months from the final day (wrap) of shooting.
For the individuals who choose the perks with tickets to the premiere of "Wayside Wonder Days:" the premiere will be date and time will be determined by the producer upon completion of editing, festival status and distribution potential.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
