Have a question?
Ninjas, agent, slaves...
Sorry for the late reply. Buried in work, but everything is coming out great! Some things have taken a bit more work than anticipated, but still moving along. Planning on sending out surveys when we have the weights to include payment for shipping in the backerkit survey process.
Interesting question regarding adding items from our current store to the Backerkit store. Which items or product lines were you interested in? Anyone else interested in this option?
Any more info on whether we'll be able to add minis from your store to the kickstarter backerkit survey? I'd like some of the minis you've previously made but the international shipping makes multiple orders far more expensive.
@Matthew. That is partly why we are waiting on surveys also. We want everyone to know exactly what the minis will look like, so they can order more through Backerkit if they so desire.
The new figures look great. When you get all the pieces ready can you put them on one page? People might want to add more to their order if you can fit that into the backerkit.
@ Eric No surveys have been sent yet, we cannot do that until we have a better idea what some of these pieces will weigh. It will be very soon though, I promise.
I did not get the survey yet. Has it gone out? Can you please re-send to me if it did. Thanks.
Not a problem, John...Saw the new sculpts...very nice. Very nice, indeed.
Hey Gang! Please take the time to look a the current update, some cool new sculpt pictures are included. There is also information about our next project. If there are any concerns from anyone, I would like to try to air them out here! :-)
@Jeffrey no you did not miss it. We have been trying to sort out some of the shipping stuff with Backer Kit. Felipe thinks he has it worked out, so they should be going out tomorrow. Sorry about the delay!
Hey Mr. Popson...did I miss the Backer Survey? Don't wanna miss that!
Happy new Year to all of our backers. Please take a minute to look at the last update and weigh in on how you feel about the "Frog-oid" sculpt.
John & Felipe
Happy New Year!
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!!
@John/Phillip, @All, Happy New Year have a good one
Gosh Dang! I am a happy Texans!!! 104 minis coming my way! Great KS! Thanks so much!
@Jeffrey, Yes the $16k "cyborg" SG is unlocked and as a Christmas gift @John/Phillip have unlocked the $16,750 "Acid Trap Plant" SG,
Just to confirm... Since we hit 16k did we unlock the level 10 stretch goal???
@Kenny, there is some cool minis already, definitely looking forward to seeing the rest once they are sculpted!
I went in at "EB survival of the fittest" so I should be getting one of each except the James Ward mini, I might get the book add-on too!
@John/Phillip, Grats on the KS! With all the extra minis we picked up in the last couple of days, I'm going to have to soul searching to decide where my dollars are going. And that's a good thing. :)
@John/Phillip, Congrats on another successful and well run KS,
The last 48hrs of the campaign have been mental, well done everyone backing and sharing the project :)
Enjoy the rest of your Christmas holidays
Great last few days! I'm happy
for you guys. Excited to see what is still to come from this new line of miniatures. I'm glad to hear you will keep working on PC mini's.
@Ron. We will do some player character stuff now that we will be licensed. The problem with doing PCs is that with the varied amounts of physical mutation combinations that are available in MA, it is tough to make minis that represent them well. Trust me when I say, that we are working on it!
Would love to see some player character figures.
Almost done. Merry xmas
Hey new backers, don't forget to go "Like" the EffinCoolMinis Facebook and Twitter pages, so close to even more bonus figures!
Merry Christmas! Glad to see so many stretch goals are met!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Please pass my apreciations on to your artist. For a non-RPGer who knew nothing about MA he has knocked it out of the park.
Size and painting will differentiate the hyena-oid from its wolfoid cousins.
@Matthew, safe travels to you as well sir. It is actually a Hyena-oid. It is much smaller than a wolfoid. When we first presented that artwork to Jim for approval, he said "I like it a lot, but thats not a wolfoid!" :-) Our concept artist has done a great job, considering he does not play roleplaying games, let alone knew anything about Metamorphosis Alpha. He has just ran with the ideas we have given him over the last 6 months.
Merry Christmas and safe travels
There you are, wolfoid cousin is in.
@ALL Happy Holidays!! You all have helped to make this a great success! We really appreciate how you have all come together for this to make Metamorphosis Alpha Miniatures an exciting new thing!
@MA supporters- Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays
@All, Happy Christmas/Holiday Season, have a good one
@John/Phillip, Nice one, i see you updated the main campaign page!
Il do one last update, lets see if we can get the "Wolfoid cousin" mini unlocked
Good luck for the last few hrs
@Kenny, Looks like "Wyrmipede" has made it to the main paige ;)
@John/Phillip, so the $14,500 is a Frogoid!? What is "Wyrmipede" really called?
Felipe: @David I agree. That particular piece of concept art was not stage 2 developed towards the direction of creatures we wanted to create for this line. I have a feeling with the chaos of creature genetics on the Warden our Frogoids may have stronger amphibian abilities giving a stronger fish-like appearance. Perhaps a better creature term would be Amphiboids?
Felipe: @Kenny We created the names with some thought that every surviving tribe would have their own name for what they see on the Warden, but we are assuming Mr. Ward may have his own ideas on the creature names.
Felipe: @Scott not sure if I over complicated the text, but the ability to Add-On another pledge level was a "Yes" answer to your question regarding the $400 for 4x miniatures.
And the Frogoid, although it looks more fish than frog to me in the drawing. Kinda cute though. In a mutated "I want to eat your face" sort of way.
Felipe: @David The upcoming stretch goal is not a Wolfoid, but it is a cousin... ;-)
@Tom - Wyrmipede, i like that better then Wurmipede. Hope Jim W likes it and it sticks :)
Still Felipe: For the question of having the option to pledge now to get multiple rewards at your pledge level and the question of having the option to gain pledges during the survey we will honor Add-On amounts equal to the minimum pledge levels for the rewards anyone is looking to receive. We added the text to the "ADD-ONS" section:
"As a Tier 1 option anyone can treat all non-Early Bird Pledge Levels as an Add-On. We will include these options in the survey portion. For example you can Add-On +$200 to gain the Commander Pledge Level rewards multiple times."
@John/Phillip, Looks like the "Wyrmipede" is unlocked!
@Kenny, I nicked your Wyrmipede name for my updates ;)
Felipe Again: @Andrew Perry - The commander level already includes 2 sets of all the unlocked miniatures. To receive more than the 2 sets, adjust your pledge level as Tracy Vierra explained. At the end of the Kickstarter part of the survey is a set of questions sent to everyone that asks for an account of which add-ons any extra pledge amounts should be applied to. Hope that helps!! :-)

@John/Phillip, I just did a big update on the forum posts, hopefully it will not be my last one!
@Kenny,Cool, yeah i did the rounds of dropping off presents earlier, just chilling before the madness of Christmas day!
No worries, thanks for the quick response. I take things too literally sometimes or just plain get confused if it's possible. Glad to see the Kickstarter taking off on the last lap! Also excited about the 5e pdf, that's great! Another no-brainer question but is it possible to do TWO Commander pledges for $400? That way I get 4 of each miniature, with the exception of the James Ward figure of which I would get two. One could be a mutated version. Or be an evil version with a goatee. Or both.
Wurmipede, eh? I like it. One of my favorite pieces of concept art, it just looks all kinds of nasty. And is that a second Wolfoid I see lurking?
I did the math on the Commander level pledge and if you take out $20 for the two print supplements it's about five bucks per figure. Not bad at all, especially considering some are larger figures.
